One of my favorite games.
I am not a big fan of gambling and rogue-likes. The Blue Prince felt immensely exhausting from the day one because of that. Puzzles are scattered between the rooms and only RNG controls your access to those rooms. Yes, you decide if you need the room with a key/gem and a dead end, which will spend 2 of your movement points or an empty room which leads in the right direction, but your hand is mostly always random(except the cases when you RANDOMLY got a room which increases PROBABILITY of certain type of rooms, what a pleasure). You encounter keys or gems or whatever in very random order, so your run might end up with a locked door and no keys in 20 previous rooms(which means 60 options to choose). Which dims the initial curiosity severely and left only disappointment and frustration. I mean I think "ok game, I'll try it the next run", but the next run provides the completely new set of rooms to choose and I don't care much about the previous experience anymore. Most of the time it feels empty. The time spent in one room in most of the cases is 15 seconds and yes, you find some clues for puzzles located in other rooms, yes, you take notes, but it doesn't give you any sense of discovery at all. It appears I like more dense puzzles or they should be less dynamic so the exploration would make any sense. It didn't felt like exercising ability of making connections and puzzle-solving, it felt like waiting painfully for stars to align in the correct order to get the rooms I am curious about. I know it might start to shine after certain amount of hours, when you unlock most of the room types and learn a bit about them, but the vibe is already brutally murdered. Might be some day the stars will align right and I will back to the game, but for now it goes to the farthest shelf in the puzzle game library.

Every market we collect.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game tries to blend puzzle mystery with roguelite. It does well for the most part, but sometimes you can clearly see the solution to a puzzle, but you can't actually enact the solution, because you don't have the right options/layout. You can never just "go solve it," you have to roll the dice to see if the conditions are even there for you to solve it. But, I also just spent all day doing nothing but play this game, so maybe there's more to love. Just remember, this is a game where taking extensive notes and cross referencing yourself is a requirement, not a suggestion.

Best game i've played in years.
I have no idea what I'm doing (besides the obvious), but I love it!
Love this game. I've sunk a huge amount of hours into this. Puzzles are rewarding to solve, and the room drafting experience is so much fun. Story in the background is pretty extensive.
