GOOD GAME NIHONGO VOICE ARE GOOD appreciate it the way of telling the history, the gameplay is good if you can play the first mission and you feel good with the movements can tolerate till the end but the camera oh my good what a piece of sh!t the protaganist is so sexy. y played with controller this is must controller i guess

A classic from my childhood that still gets it done, The Gameplay Requires a calm and Observational mind while the story is a typical all out monster of the week anthology, Its one of those games that had the potential for great sequels and movies if handled correctly, Personally i want it to be rebooted and have the character be a not so obvious badass with a very feminine delicate look and demeaner, confused look when people don't take her seriously, Only to be revealed at night as this michael myers like stalker, observing specific prey that has caught her eyes, feared by all sides as a unknown vampyr who has the unique ability to be capable of devouring and changing rapidly evolving into something unknown, Which begs the question, What is she? Is that really a female vampyr, Or something pretending to be from this world? Then we bring in the brimstone organization and nazi's etc.

The constant stuttering in cutscenes and during gameplay when moving the camera too fast combined with the fact that it's not as fun as I remember it being makes the whole experience pretty bad

A pretty good, janky, grindhouse-style game. As Rayne you will tear through hordes of monsters and nazis in this mostly brain-dead but enjoyable game. I played on hard but didn't really feel challenged until the final few levels of the game. You do get a couple skills and improved attack combos, but this isn't Devil May Cry. Just enjoy the overpowered slaughter and lame oneliners. One complaint I have is the checkpointing. You restart from the beginning of the level, which is usually fine as they are mostly short and to the point. Some of the longer ones are a real pain to replay though if you die. The plot and characterization are very thin as would be expected in a grindhouse film. The focus is on the violence and hot ladies, which this game accomplishes. Rayne does have some fun character moments, like getting excited to drive the supertank, and her "farewell" to the final bosses got a genuine laugh out of me, it was pitch-perfect and the best part of the game.
