About

Weird West legends meet eldritch horror in BLOOD WEST, an immersive stealth FPS. Become the Undead Gunslinger, doomed to roam the barren lands until he finds the means to purge their curse and free his soul. No, this isn’t your typical Wild West desperado redemption arc. This is a damnation arc.
The Canyons, the Swamp, and the Mountains. Each swarming with abominable monsters and unholy demons, these are open-ended worlds for you to explore freely at your own pace. It will take the player over 20 hours on average to complete all three scenarios, and over 35 if they want to see everything the barren lands have to offer.
Blood West is a stealth FPS inspired by the genre classics such as the Thief series (whose fans will be happy to hear the voice of Stephen Russell, the actor voicing the master-thief Garrett, returning here as the protagonist), S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, or - from the contemporary catalog - Hunt: Showdown. The gameplay rewards the careful approach: scouting the area, stalking your enemies, and striking from the shadows. Can you figure out a way to clear a fort full of ghouls and monsters without raising an alarm?
The Barren Lands present the player with a nightmarish, twisted vision of the Wild West legends. The curse that has befallen the realm has corrupted every living thing, defiled the land itself, while summoning restless spirits and dark entities. In this mixture of gunslinger pulp and Lovecraftian horror, dark occult magick presents just as much of a threat as sudden lead poisoning.
In Blood West you will meet many colorful, yet strangely twisted, fully-voiced NPCs. Just as much prisoners of the Barren Lands as you are, they will sometimes share their unusual stories and send you on various missions. Play nice and they might reward you or become your allies. Cross them and risk their wrath.
The game won’t hold your hand. You’ll have to explore the land for yourself (buying a map from a vendor might prove useful!), and figure out your own way to approach quests. As you poke around the three expansive maps, keep an eye out for hidden places and secret stashes. There’s gold in the mountains! Fair warning - it’s probably cursed.
If sneaking around isn’t exactly your thing, or you feel that you have a power advantage over your enemies, you can always take the head-on approach and meet your enemies guns blazing. Blood West comes from the creators of the fan-favorite boomer shooter POSTAL: Brain Damaged, so much gratuitous fantasy violence and pixelated blood splatter is to be expected!
One man’s hell might be another hoarder’s paradise! From simple one-use items like bandages, through medical tinctures, explosives and incendiaries, straight to arcane artifacts that - once slotted - can change the way you play the game, the Barren Lands are just filled with STUFF. There are tons of useful items to discover, and there’s a special player’s stash crate for all those super-rare potions that you’ll hoard and never use.
A gunslinger without a gun would be just a regular slinger. Where’s the fun in that? Blood West makes sure you’ll have plenty of weapons to choose from. Revolvers, rifles, shotguns, carabines - a great variety of firearms, from standard army-issue to those infused with powerful magic, or straight-up possessed. And if you prefer not to cause a ruckus, there’s a wide selection of hand-to-hand combat weapons and archery weapons to pick your favorites from.
The RPG-like perk-based progression system in Blood West will allow you to highly customize the gameplay experience to your liking. Become a stealthy hunter, a revolver-fanning gunman or a relentless berserker. You will gain experience and progress through the skill tree, while discovering new artifacts in each of the scenarios that will bestow on you additional abilities. Combining skills and load-out creates more possible playstyles than you’d normally be able to explore in one playthrough.

the game is divided into 3 different maps/episodes and runs on a kind of autosave system where you cant have individual saves, this feels like it was purposefully made to annoy you because when you proceed to the next chapter/map it locks you out of the previous one with no ability to return to it unless you make a new game, this can cause you to lose out on exclusive items that were hidden in the previous open world level that you might've missed for the rest of the game, this really annoyed me especially because i was really enjoying the game before this happened, it has an easy to understand stealth system made for not so professional ninjas like me, i reccomend to get it on sale, but keep this save issue in mind while playing so you can get the most out of your experience

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

После часов 8 игры таки придрочился и начал жеско разваливать противников без стелса. Из бесящих противников только челики из которых летуны вылазят, этих только заточкой ковырять, остальные в целом убиваются. Финальный босс очень простой. Норм

Very solid Stealth/Horror Immersive Sim and an easy recommend for fans of Thief and Deus Ex.
Its hard for me to explain how I feel about this game. The concepts, artwork, music, and most of the gameplay is fantastic. The general looting system feels decently rewarding and it feels fun to explore, excluding a few areas that feel a bit barren (mainly some houses). The game is very cruel, but executing missions feels very rewarding. I have two main gripes with the game though, which are bullet spongy enemies and boss fights. The placement of some enemy locations in the end game is brutal, and not all that fun. Specifically the sections with the invisible monsters in chapter 3. Easily the worst enemy in the game just because of how much health they have and the quantity of them in some areas. Other areas you can sneak your way through, but those things are just impossible to get around. All three of the bosses to me were fine concepts, but incredibly bullet spongy until I realized I basically just need to spam explosive ammunition against them and sleep over and over to buy as much as I could. Fighting them with normal ammunition is nigh impossible. I get this is probably how you are INTENDED to play, but none of the bosses really stood out to me. Some of them dragged on for way too long. A small side note as well is I am not sure how respectful these designs are to Native American traditions. A few of the enemies definitely are references to Native American culture and folklore and feel a bit off to me, but maybe I am uneducated. It's not a huge gripe just something I noticed. So why even write a positive review at this point? I am VERY hyped for the dlc that adds a roguelite gamemode. I think that is PERFECT for what this game is, and it has the parts in place to be that game. I don't think the campaign is bad, but it doesn't stand out that much to me story wise or quest wise. I am praying to the lord that this dlc scratches my itch for this game, and I have high hopes for it. If you do struggle with the game, don't feel bad playing on an easier or custom mode. I was tempted to switch because I was tired of dealing with the penalties from dying. It's a singleplayer game, so I wouldn't feel bad for playing on an easier setting if you'll have more fun. I personally wasn't a huge fan of some of the consequences and extremely precise sections. Would be nice if custom mode had the option to disable curses though.

Un des meilleurs indies game que j'ai tester !
Surprisingly fun and addictive, best take on a stealth game since dishonored, had way too much fun listening to cheesy 1 liners after defeating enemies. You don't have some crazy ability that makes you the odd one out you are just undead. You wake, you discover, you die, and you come back to do it again better each go. Very conventional methods of taking enemies out makes it a refreshing change of pace from other stealth titles. I am also quite a fan of how stealth works in this game, as the only thing you lose by getting spotted is the element of surprise. Had a ton of fun experimenting with different weapons and finding named variants, the game really rewards you for looking around and though the boss fights are easy I love them, as they hold a nice net of symbolism up for you to appreciate. I am a big fan of the way characters talk in this game and voice acting isn't too stiff. My favorite section of the game probably has to be act 1 as it has a way of setting the tone and making the game familiar. Love the DLC too, works in wonderful with the story, like a dessert after a meal it satisfies me greatly to complete this game, thank you New Blood Interactive and Hyperstrange. I hope to see more games in a similar setting hopefully, as this is my personal favorite of your 3 single player stealth titles and I hope you had as much fun making it as I did playing it.
