About

Weird West legends meet eldritch horror in BLOOD WEST, an immersive stealth FPS. Become the Undead Gunslinger, doomed to roam the barren lands until he finds the means to purge their curse and free his soul. No, this isn’t your typical Wild West desperado redemption arc. This is a damnation arc.
The Canyons, the Swamp, and the Mountains. Each swarming with abominable monsters and unholy demons, these are open-ended worlds for you to explore freely at your own pace. It will take the player over 20 hours on average to complete all three scenarios, and over 35 if they want to see everything the barren lands have to offer.
Blood West is a stealth FPS inspired by the genre classics such as the Thief series (whose fans will be happy to hear the voice of Stephen Russell, the actor voicing the master-thief Garrett, returning here as the protagonist), S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, or - from the contemporary catalog - Hunt: Showdown. The gameplay rewards the careful approach: scouting the area, stalking your enemies, and striking from the shadows. Can you figure out a way to clear a fort full of ghouls and monsters without raising an alarm?
The Barren Lands present the player with a nightmarish, twisted vision of the Wild West legends. The curse that has befallen the realm has corrupted every living thing, defiled the land itself, while summoning restless spirits and dark entities. In this mixture of gunslinger pulp and Lovecraftian horror, dark occult magick presents just as much of a threat as sudden lead poisoning.
In Blood West you will meet many colorful, yet strangely twisted, fully-voiced NPCs. Just as much prisoners of the Barren Lands as you are, they will sometimes share their unusual stories and send you on various missions. Play nice and they might reward you or become your allies. Cross them and risk their wrath.
The game won’t hold your hand. You’ll have to explore the land for yourself (buying a map from a vendor might prove useful!), and figure out your own way to approach quests. As you poke around the three expansive maps, keep an eye out for hidden places and secret stashes. There’s gold in the mountains! Fair warning - it’s probably cursed.
If sneaking around isn’t exactly your thing, or you feel that you have a power advantage over your enemies, you can always take the head-on approach and meet your enemies guns blazing. Blood West comes from the creators of the fan-favorite boomer shooter POSTAL: Brain Damaged, so much gratuitous fantasy violence and pixelated blood splatter is to be expected!
One man’s hell might be another hoarder’s paradise! From simple one-use items like bandages, through medical tinctures, explosives and incendiaries, straight to arcane artifacts that - once slotted - can change the way you play the game, the Barren Lands are just filled with STUFF. There are tons of useful items to discover, and there’s a special player’s stash crate for all those super-rare potions that you’ll hoard and never use.
A gunslinger without a gun would be just a regular slinger. Where’s the fun in that? Blood West makes sure you’ll have plenty of weapons to choose from. Revolvers, rifles, shotguns, carabines - a great variety of firearms, from standard army-issue to those infused with powerful magic, or straight-up possessed. And if you prefer not to cause a ruckus, there’s a wide selection of hand-to-hand combat weapons and archery weapons to pick your favorites from.
The RPG-like perk-based progression system in Blood West will allow you to highly customize the gameplay experience to your liking. Become a stealthy hunter, a revolver-fanning gunman or a relentless berserker. You will gain experience and progress through the skill tree, while discovering new artifacts in each of the scenarios that will bestow on you additional abilities. Combining skills and load-out creates more possible playstyles than you’d normally be able to explore in one playthrough.

A game that gives you that old nostalgia of a proper video game. Nothing sloppy about it. I want more content.

Every market we collect.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Jul 25 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

好玩,很有世界感的开放世界潜行生存。想到了小时候玩平板上的六发左轮
Разработчики добавили в игру чувака из Postal (НУ видимо его дедушку) его голос делает эту игру только лучше)

Really enjoyed my time with this game. The beginning is great as you're scravenging for resources - arrows, bullets, anything. Chapter 1 was great learning how the game worked, and Chapter 2 was a great continuation. My first steps into the swamps I got devoured by crocodiles. Partway through 2, I had gotten powerful enough that the game lost that stress. I had tons of bullets and resources - I could still die quickly to a misplay, but this continued into 3 where I never died. The game is very solid though, really fun, stalker-like. The Rougelite DLC is actually huge as it keeps you at that hobo level where the game is more fun, and they add extra challenges to keep things engaging. Huge W, I hope they make a sequel.
Possibly the most fun I've had playing a game in a while. Hits a sweet spot between simple, engaging, and fun.
++This review does NOT contain story spoilers, but I will be describing SOME of the gameplay features Blood West has implemented and discuss some of my complaints I had after finishing my first playthrough and barely progressing the "Dead Man's Promise" DLC, and talking about the Pros of the story and world building without bringing any details that could jeopardize your first time experience. If I do write something very gameplay niche that can count as a gameplay spoiler then I'll do my best to mark it for your convenience.++ Calling Blood West merely a "stealth game" is exactly what this game is in short. During the first few minutes of the game it shows stealth as one of the main gameplay structures to follow. Even though I really like doing stealth on any game, I really haven't found any reason to play in any other way than stealth. This is due to the gameplay structure and difficulty set in a way that emphasizes one type of gameplay than the other, even though there are different types of classes you can make yourself and buffs you can use through potions, drinks, and trinkets. During the first chapter, I was following this stealthy method for a little bit since there are missions that drive you to finish them in different ways, and as I said previously you can buff yourself to finish a mission in whatever way that pleases you the most. But as you keep going, you realize that some weapons do a better job at taking down really strong enemies than most of the expensive weapons you can buy that have risk-reward buffs. Making most of the bosses of this game on normal "the intended way to play the game on your first run" not as harsh as dealing with a pack of enemies laying around the map. ++Gameplay Spoiler Ahead++ Let me emphasize my point. Lets say you wanted to do a more aggressive cowboy playstyle for your first run. If you take damage and you don't have any healing potions then it will set you back 100 dollars of the currency you can earn by selling items or finding small bags of money laying around. Which intern is gonna set you back if there is a gun you wanna buy and try which is not cheap, let alone if you want to buy different types of ammo or just bandages in which if you don't level up your healing skills then it will only heal you 10 points of health, and since there are different types of bleeding effects which can be small or life threatening, you might end up using only bandages and/or healing potions and healing buffs. Those problems can be solved by resting on your bed right? Well like a Dark Souls game, if you rest then all of the enemies that you have killed are gonna come back and probably lose all your progress made if you haven't scavenged the place before doing so, or just died trying in which, if you do die then you are going set yourself a debuff that drastically impacts you and stacks unless you have a potion to get rid of the said debuffs. On normal difficulty, the traders can sell you ammo, potions and drinks and you can rest to reset the trader's products leading you to stacking up and preparing yourself before doing anything dangerous. But if you choose to play on a harder difficulty, the traders will not sell you any ammo, AND the prices are not going to be on favor of the player unless you customize your difficulty before playing, and like I said, most of the stuff cost money. You wanna guess how you can avoid most of this problems and make your run more sustainable? you've guessed it, STEALTH. ++"Dead Man's Promise" DLC Gameplay Spoiler Ahead.++ It is sad because I started playing the DLC "Dead Man's Promise" on the harder difficulty, hoping to have a different gameplay experience than the original story mode intended. And although they added the soul essence currency to buy soul items, the new weapons are lackluster and the phantoms that you can spawn are as helpful as throwing yourself towards a horde of enemies with a knife hoping to come out victorious and dying of bleeding. The Phantoms have really bad tracking and die really fast making them not worth it, and they've change the stealth gameplay by making it worse? Since now your stealth heavily relies being on water then just being a normal stealth stat. Unfortunately, I didn't really bother playing the DLC fully. But in any case, if I have been playing the DLC wrong, then I would like somebody to tell me in the comments what are the things I could've done to make the phantoms stronger and more efficient as the DLC is all about phantoms and souls. ++Gameplay Spoiler Ahead++ However, the style and the ambience of Blood West is incomparable as you can feel the dark and grittiness through each corner and encounter. The enemy designs are horrifying and enemy details that you can gather from the codex's/letters laying around that describes not only their origin but ways you can take them down since other settlers have tried doing so and one character leaving notes for anyone who finds them to study and learn the erratic and unsimilar behaviors of all enemies. The voice acting is fabulous, you can feel the warmth of the character's voices and their dialogues don't feel as superficial like most triple A games, and the story is easy to follow so you don't have to scavenge for notes to uncover very niche mysteries unless you put yourself through the work of finding and reading them all which unlocks a trophy if you do so. The notes contain rich details about what happened to the world and the whereabouts of other settlers that if it was implemented to a book it would be an incredible reading experience. ++The "Immersive Sim' part of the dialogue options for this game are just to introduce different perspectives of what is happening around the world of Blood West where your words don't really change outcomes, just setting different objectives that changes if a character needs help and give you objectives in which only one mission gives you different choices which I won't spoil.++ And overall the story and mystery are pretty on point to emphasize the world building and if anything is worth giving a shot to experience a simple and yet intriguing story. With all of this points gathered, I can only recommend this game for its story and first time gameplay experience. Because I started playing this game after they added custom difficulty (and not customized my difficulty experience,) regardless of anything you might find yourself with a different experience than I did since I only played the normal difficulty and barely scratched the harder one. I did enjoy the game while I could and I bought another game from Blood Interactive so not all of it is lost. Blood West brings something new to the table and for me, that is what matters most than any triple A slop. And remember, if you enjoy this game to the fullest, then more props to you.
Says what it does on the tin, its set in the west and there is blood....lots of blood.
