About

Weird West legends meet eldritch horror in BLOOD WEST, an immersive stealth FPS. Become the Undead Gunslinger, doomed to roam the barren lands until he finds the means to purge their curse and free his soul. No, this isn’t your typical Wild West desperado redemption arc. This is a damnation arc.
The Canyons, the Swamp, and the Mountains. Each swarming with abominable monsters and unholy demons, these are open-ended worlds for you to explore freely at your own pace. It will take the player over 20 hours on average to complete all three scenarios, and over 35 if they want to see everything the barren lands have to offer.
Blood West is a stealth FPS inspired by the genre classics such as the Thief series (whose fans will be happy to hear the voice of Stephen Russell, the actor voicing the master-thief Garrett, returning here as the protagonist), S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, or - from the contemporary catalog - Hunt: Showdown. The gameplay rewards the careful approach: scouting the area, stalking your enemies, and striking from the shadows. Can you figure out a way to clear a fort full of ghouls and monsters without raising an alarm?
The Barren Lands present the player with a nightmarish, twisted vision of the Wild West legends. The curse that has befallen the realm has corrupted every living thing, defiled the land itself, while summoning restless spirits and dark entities. In this mixture of gunslinger pulp and Lovecraftian horror, dark occult magick presents just as much of a threat as sudden lead poisoning.
In Blood West you will meet many colorful, yet strangely twisted, fully-voiced NPCs. Just as much prisoners of the Barren Lands as you are, they will sometimes share their unusual stories and send you on various missions. Play nice and they might reward you or become your allies. Cross them and risk their wrath.
The game won’t hold your hand. You’ll have to explore the land for yourself (buying a map from a vendor might prove useful!), and figure out your own way to approach quests. As you poke around the three expansive maps, keep an eye out for hidden places and secret stashes. There’s gold in the mountains! Fair warning - it’s probably cursed.
If sneaking around isn’t exactly your thing, or you feel that you have a power advantage over your enemies, you can always take the head-on approach and meet your enemies guns blazing. Blood West comes from the creators of the fan-favorite boomer shooter POSTAL: Brain Damaged, so much gratuitous fantasy violence and pixelated blood splatter is to be expected!
One man’s hell might be another hoarder’s paradise! From simple one-use items like bandages, through medical tinctures, explosives and incendiaries, straight to arcane artifacts that - once slotted - can change the way you play the game, the Barren Lands are just filled with STUFF. There are tons of useful items to discover, and there’s a special player’s stash crate for all those super-rare potions that you’ll hoard and never use.
A gunslinger without a gun would be just a regular slinger. Where’s the fun in that? Blood West makes sure you’ll have plenty of weapons to choose from. Revolvers, rifles, shotguns, carabines - a great variety of firearms, from standard army-issue to those infused with powerful magic, or straight-up possessed. And if you prefer not to cause a ruckus, there’s a wide selection of hand-to-hand combat weapons and archery weapons to pick your favorites from.
The RPG-like perk-based progression system in Blood West will allow you to highly customize the gameplay experience to your liking. Become a stealthy hunter, a revolver-fanning gunman or a relentless berserker. You will gain experience and progress through the skill tree, while discovering new artifacts in each of the scenarios that will bestow on you additional abilities. Combining skills and load-out creates more possible playstyles than you’d normally be able to explore in one playthrough.

Mmm....spicy
Abi biz ottoman empire'den geliyoruz varmı bir sıkıntı.
Impeccable atmosphere and art direction, which kinda carried this game for me. Exploring the open world is very engrossing since the map is very well designed and interconnected with some truly grotesque locations, and the environmental story telling is top notch. The designs of the enemies are also insanely cool and unique, though I would have appreciated more variety. The stealth system is fine but it's more akin to those of modern action games, with basic vision and audio detection range rather a deeper system found in true stealth titles like Thief or the older Splinter Cell games. This caused me to find the gameplay loop quite repetitive, however the gunplay is very tight and satisfying so I was not too turned off by this. The story was by far my biggest complaint for this game; despite a strong start that really drew me in, the story just fell of the cliff at the end. No spoiler but the ending felt so abrupt that I thought there was supposed to be another chapter. Overall, this is a pretty good game and great value considering it is around 20 hours long, definitely worth checking out especially if you are into the niche weird west genre.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ghoultown is the best western horror band there is, although possibly also the only one. Their song "Drink With The Living Dead" and visual style of that now decade old music video is Blood West. That visual style, tone, and mood is something the game carries exceptionally well. There's a definite learning curve at the beginning, where you realize death is not the end, but there are consequences to it, and depth perception for melee is something you just have to figure out through unfortunate trial and error. Equipment slots are limited in a way that makes individual play style balance a challenge, and character skill development can be tailored a lot of different ways in a manner that's pretty easy to understand. The different environments in each chapter have their own unique challenges, but each sticks with the 1800s western mood, adopting the horror characteristics to each region. Equipment gets progressively more interesting, and is historically either accurate, or good enough for Single Action Shooting Society and/or Forgotten Weapons to allow it even if there might be a slight bit of anachronism. If you think you might like the game based on appearances, then you will.
I have not even touched the Dlcs yet but: Y E S, a thousand times yes. Dont think about it, just buy, especially on a sale. This game is insanely fun, especially so if youre an older gamer who grew up with or enjoyed like the older Deus Ex games or similar. The way the game just starts, no over explanation of simple game mechanics and doesnt hold your hand while also not treading you like an absolute rtrd like most modern games is so refreshing to play. Just managing your inventory and defeating the game wih good planning / ressource management is fun in itself but on top of that you also get: -Custom Difficulty Sliders (i for example played in 200% enemy Damage but also just 50% Health, i like it when things die fast when i aim well or play smart and dont have artificial bullet sponginess) -a good number of acts / maps to play through and explore with each having a variety of dangers, new enemies and better and better legendary artifacts / trinkets to find. -well placed secrets without turning into a pixelhunter type of game, it drops enough hints to find out a lot of things on your own without having to resort on google or whatever (even if you are rather impatient like me) - Satisfying gunplay, with one tiny little downside (if you pick the upgrade that lets you fan revolvers he doesnt do the cool spinny spin when equipping a revolver anymore like he does when you pick the 2nd upgrade of that tree :C ) - 2 to 3 distinct playstyle with varying customizability in what to focus on if that be bows, rifles, tomahawks, revolvers / pistols, shotguns, melee etc - visceral and punchy soundeffects (the crunchy headshot sound doesnt get boring even 30 hours in ngl), shotguns have the exact amount of oompf needed while also sending enemies flying and well - insanely well designed enemies with a bunch of interesting background lore to them and very interesting ways to take them down effectively (for example shoot enemies in the back of the head because the front is masked and absorbs the first shot is just a simpler example of a lot of creative things to do) Like i could go on and gosh about the game endlessly and its one of the first games in a while where im considering to go NG+ because im genuinely just not tired of the gameplay just yet despite beating the story or go for the dlcs now . If you made it this far, do yourself the favor and just play it, you wont regret it and if you do you can add me and personally attack me for buying the game because of me haha (spoiler: you wont hate it)
yeah its ok, although the enemy variety is a bit low. good signs of things to come from this dev but probably a sale item really as it can get a bit samey after a while.
its really good! scavengers dlc got me back into it all over again recently
