Blockstorm

I remember playing this back when it first came out, I was still in high school. Over 10 years later it's a shame to see no players on any servers. The game is good as dead in 2026. Unless you can get a group together to play I wouldn't recommend this.

the only thing going for this game is it had completely voxel-by-voxel customization for weapons and characters. the actual game sucked, and it's also unplayably dead now, so y'know..

Simpler times, great memories. Blockstorm is dead now, but back in its heyday, it was able to keep a consistent and tight community. Although it didn't do anything amazing, it gave complete freedom to the player and gave them the tools needed for a personalized and unique experience. The in-game editor lets you create maps and all different kinds of weapons and allows for character customization. It's pretty in-depth, leading to some amazing skins and builds. The gameplay was average. Not the best, not the worst. Movement and shooting always felt a little bit off. The destruction elements are reminiscent of Battlefield but with the added feature of also being able to build.
