Rating: 6/10 Brick-Force is an online sandbox game that blends the worlds of first-person shooter (FPS) and building blocks, allowing players to not only shoot but also create their own maps, buildings, and worlds. Developed by ExeGame, it was designed to give players a unique combination of creativity and competitive shooting in the spirit of games like Minecraft and Team Fortress 2. What Works Well? 🛠️ Customizable Map Building One of the standout features of Brick-Force is its ability to build your own maps and customize your surroundings. The game’s block-based building system allows you to create everything from small structures to expansive battlefields. Players can also share their creations with others, encouraging a strong community of creators. 🎮 Simple FPS Action The FPS gameplay in Brick-Force is relatively easy to pick up, making it accessible for both newcomers and those familiar with shooting games. It offers traditional FPS mechanics, such as team deathmatches, capture the flag, and other popular modes, with smooth controls and engaging combat. 🌍 Variety of Game Modes Brick-Force includes several different modes, such as Battle, Zombie, and Free-For-All, offering plenty of options for players looking to mix things up. These modes ensure there is always something new to try, and the frequent updates keep the content fresh. What Could Be Better? ❌ Limited Graphics and Visuals Despite the creative, block-building nature of the game, the graphics are relatively basic and cartoonish. While this fits the overall style, it may not appeal to players looking for a more realistic or polished visual experience. The design can feel dated compared to other shooters. ❌ Monetization Issues Like many free-to-play games, Brick-Force suffers from microtransactions. The in-game store allows players to purchase cosmetic items, but the pricing can feel steep at times, especially for those who don’t want to spend real money on the game. This has been a point of frustration for some players who feel the game leans too heavily on pay-to-win mechanics. ❌ Limited Community Engagement While the game has an active community, it’s not as large as other popular FPS titles. Players may struggle to find full servers at certain times, which can result in longer wait times for matches. Additionally, some players complain that the community is not always as engaged as it could be, which can detract from the overall experience. ❌ Repetitive Gameplay Although there are several game modes, Brick-Force can become repetitive after extended play. The gameplay is fairly simple, and once you’ve built a few maps and played through the available modes, there isn’t much else to keep you engaged long-term. Conclusion Brick-Force is an enjoyable sandbox FPS that combines creativity and shooter action in a fun way, offering a unique experience for fans of both genres. However, its basic graphics, pay-to-win elements, and somewhat repetitive gameplay can hold it back from becoming a must-play title. If you enjoy games like Minecraft or Roblox and want to try a more competitive FPS twist, Brick-Force might be worth checking out. Rating: 6/10 – Fun and creative, but limited in long-term appeal.
I used to play this game back in its glory days, but now it's probably dead. If I had known how to write reviews eight years ago, I would have highly recommended it. But today, it's just not worth your time—don't bother installing it. Eight years ago, this game was a solid 10/10. It was amazing to play with friends, with so many modes to choose from. It felt like a free version of Garry's Mod, where you could create your own content. Now, I'd give it a 3/10. It's still playable, but the community is practically nonexistent. How can you enjoy it if no one else is playing? I've also seen some recent reviews claiming it's pay-to-win, but I don't remember it being that way. Besides, who would even spend money on a game like this now?
