Una fiel traslación del juego de tablero. Una lástima que la IA deje mucho que desear. Ideal para el multijugador.
It's seems like a worthy and faithful adaptation of a good block game, albeit fairly expensive for what you get by modern standards. Below is some feedback: 1. The sound effects are pretty minimal and could be a little more atmospheric, plus the graphics aren't the most beautiful. I don't know whether it's a lack of resolution or what, but they just look a little harsh. I also think better visual clarity over nobles, heirs, who's king, and who dies vs who goes back into the pool would greatly help the UI but I'm assuming this will get easier with repeat plays. 2. The online mode could do with being able to set up games for people to join but not having to wait around with the software open for this to happen. True async should mean I could set up a game and then exit, allowing someone to join whenever they want. As it stands, I can see getting random multiplayer games going being extremely unlikely, unless that is, you have someone coordinated to join exactly when you happen to be online. 3. Stats (e.g. win / loss, ELO) would be a nice to have addition. Some improvements to the online multiplayer to make it easier to get games going would be needed for me to buy other block games at the current asking price.
It has a vague resemblance to the game, but lacks the feel and clarity of the boardgame. IF the map were clearer and rendered better, it'd be more enjoyable. As it is, it looks very dated and plays like it as well. I wanted to love it - or at least like it - but wasn't able to. IF you can get it for 75% off, then it might be worth it - maybe.
Easy game to learn if you read the external PDF and fun game to play. Got it today and played through all three scenarios winning all as York which is a bit harder as you dont necessarily get the home team benefit. Beer and pretzels game for sure. I played all the old Avalon Hill board games. Wish they would make a digital version of Outdoor Survival.
this game developer is 1 greedy scammer spamming unfinished games with game breaking bugs to steam... and steam have become trash can for this ♥♥♥♥. god bless epic games.
Excellent game, cant wait for more blocks!
Interesting, lite little war game. I liked the mechanics of the blocks (my first block game) and I’m more incline to purchase the table top version because I know it would be a different (traditional) type of experience. I’ve won about half of my games playing the Lancaster side (the few loses coming from the learning curve of the app), and now I’m on to the York side, but I suspect it will be easier. And I didn’t think the AI was as ‘smart’ as the Kick Starter led us to believe it would be.
Great adaptation from the great board game, well down Avalon Digital ! Can't wait Crusader Rex and Hammer Of The Scots in next year, and if Pacific Victory also get on kickstarter campaigns...that will be perfect! ;)
Had issues with a Registration Key, but the Devs were able to resolve it for me. As for the game, it plays extremely well, with intuitive controls (difficult for a boardgame translation!) and clear graphics. AI makes sensible moves and the tutorial should help most people grasp the concepts. Look forward to more from these devs!
