The Watson-Scott Test

I generally tend to avoid horror games, as I find them overwhelmingly intense and emotionally distressing. However, this particular game did not elicit any fear or tension from me. Despite its classification as a horror title, I found the atmosphere and design to be rather underwhelming, lacking the psychological or visual impact typically associated with the genre.

Presentation is top notch but unfortunately it's wasted on a bare-bones, linear experience. The game does a good job of building atmosphere throughout the test with its eerie soundtrack and visual tricks that make you do a double take, with my favorite being barely visible shadows on the corners of your screen. However, after doing a second run of both tests all the tension and fear built up with said atmosphere is quickly thrown out when nothing outside of different flavor text changes between choices. This is a major issue of repeat playthroughs as it can quickly become a slog to get to the important choices for the secret achievements if you aren't using a guide. Wouldn't recommend if the screenshots and video aren't enough to interest you as that's primarily what you'll be experiencing.

Acabei jogando pelas conquistas, seguindo um guia vc deve conseguir liberar tudo tranquilamente em menos de meia hora.

It's a great idea, but executed very poorly. Would be fine for a free game, but definitely not worth $5. It has ~25 minutes of gameplay, and honestly just lacks the immersivity any good horror game should have. I would rate this game 3/10.

I wish there was a mixed steam option but there isn't because this game is a great concept, but not really expanded upon too well. And I think it was meant to be that way anyway. This game blew up in the later half of popular youtubers playing small indie games to break up their main content, it was fun to enjoy it that way. During the first play through it's pretty creepy, but after a few cheap jumpscares and re-plays, it's easy to see how its not worth the $5 price point. You see through the gimmick pretty easy and it really doesn't have any other tricks up its sleeve to try and surprise you. This is meant as a one time playthrough. Overall it's a good experience once or twice but after you realize the questions aren't really meaningful or contributing to anything, it gets boring.

Pretty solid personality test game. The horror elements are effective, especially if it’s your first time playing. My only complaints are that it doesn’t go into much detail with the feedback after finishing the personality test and the game lacks replayability though I guess that’s to be expected. I had fun playing it and even let a couple of friends borrow my computer to try it out as well.
