I saw this on advertised on Reddit, and it is an interesting take on an RTS. Having played it for nearly an hour though I can see how it would be fun, but there are just somethings that I suck the fun out of it. 1. The heat system - normally these are done with a timer, this is based on actions. You'e got to carefully think about what you want to do. 2. The bosses/events - I managed to clear two pretty quickly/easily, the scaling after that was near impossible. So many red reticles on the screen. 3. Base building - because of the way the heat system works you have to decide on what you want to build, and you can't build nice laid out bases because you can't fill in water or remove pillars easily without wasting your (minimum) 50 moves. I won't refund it. Interested to see how it is build on, but I probably won't play it again until there are some QOL updates and more content. My biggest recommendation is changing the heat system. Find a way to balance that and it'll be a much better game.
There's the making of a truly great game here, but its a bit too rough around the edges. Controls are a bit clunky, and the tutorial is a bit lacking for what isn't a particularly intuitive game. I hope there's a major update, or a second game down the line, because I'd love to play it.

I'd seen a few posts of this game on Reddit, I think in the RTS sub and was always quite intrigued by it. I just picked it up and tried it and have to say I think it's really pretty interesting. The developer has inserted lots of new ideas into the genre and it makes it feel very fresh, it's not the same old RTS tropes which to be honest, as much as I love the genre, I'm a bit tired of games recycling. It's quite a tough game, and there are some elements which could be a bit clearer to use (that said, I did skip the tutorial!) but outside of that I'd really recommend giving it a try. It's a very polished experience overall.
3 hours deep and i like the mash up ....it must be fun i played three hours straight last night ....will get back after 40 hours and report back!!!!
It is rough on the edges and I do not like a heat premise (I.e. every time you do something of an impact such as gathering resources or base building it pushes you towards enemy attack wave, so basically you are not punished if you read it all, but may end up setting you in trouble for playing fast), but I do like the overall twist of an rts with low units count and destructible terrain that is also a resource (basically like in minecraft) too much to just give up on it this easily. Also, if you ever played any other rts games instantly switch to "starcraft mouse" in settings, because controls inside the tutorial alone almost made me do refund, but outside of that it is by far one of the most unique rts games I've played. As for problems: A) Game doesn't support assigning your control groups (you have default hotkey for each unit and select all units hotkey, but that is about it, honestly I am not sure if its that important to have it long term, considering you can dodge every bullet, thus theoretically you'd like to micro manage all units individually, but it ruins muscle memory too much to just ignore it) B) Game is too overwhelming at start. Tutorial is more of a "long, boring and overwhelming" type instead of "split tutorials in few pieces and give a few features, slowly building up, while also staying interactive" like in Warcraft 3 or Starcraft 2. Combined with a twist being very unique it sets you up to being somewhat confused.
