Navigate a platformer using only feeling and memory, each death meaning progress. With your memory illuminating your path, you'll "see" a little more of the level each time you attempt it.

'Blindsighted' is definitely one of the most fun experiences I've had with an indie game; while the game has some minor flaws, it's positives more than make up for them. Playing as a blind protagonist (who appears as a pair of feet), you must feel your way through levels to reach the exit whilst encountering dangers along the way, such as deadly spikes and slippery ice. Death doesn't hinder progress; you'll "remember" the path you take each time your character resets, which provides a great sense of accomplishment as you'll know where to go and what to do the further you travel. It's mechanics are introduced naturally through the environment and don't feel forced upon the player, nor is the potential of any of them wasted. The pace at which level difficulty increases in parallel to mechanic introductions also feels well balanced, however I personally found some of the ice levels to be a tad difficult due to the placement of some platforms. (The final level of the game I also found to be particularly challenging, to the point that I found it's design to be somewhat unfair due to the high number of hazards hindering your progress and the difficulty of avoiding them). 'Blindsighted' also features the ability to replay levels with a death counter and timer, encouraging players to test their memory skills and beat levels as quickly as possible with as few deaths as they can manage. Although only a short experience (roughly 30 minutes or so, possibly longer depending on how many times you die during a level!), its absolutely worth it for the pleasing minimalist visuals, level of complexity, and it's nicely arranged original music (plus the low price!). A well-executed concept backed by mostly well-thought-out levels, interesting & fun mechanics, and great replay value, 'Blindsighted' is a game I'd recommend to anyone looking for a unique, challenging experience.
Blindsighted is perhaps the most innovative platformer I've played in years. Starting from a simple to understand concept, the gameplay ramps up in difficulty as its creative level design integrates more features and the platforming gets significantly more challenging as the game progresses. The levels flow together seamlessly, and there are built in speedrun timers! 10/10 platformer, would absolutely recommend for the price -------- Updating for Steam Awards - The game now includes the original level of the demo this game was based on, and a number of QoL features

It's a short game, about 40 minutes long in my experience. But for the price it is absolutely worth it! The core mechanic is interesting, not too rage-inducing (it is certainly cheeky though!) and there's enough extra mechanics and well-designed levels to keep it fresh. The music is also really sweet, fitting with the aesthetics of the game and never feeling too repetitive. The art style is simple but charming in its own right, with the little shoes adding just enough character for it to stand out and be memorable. If the bloom effect is too much for you, there's a setting to turn it down! Overall, it's definitely worth a play!
Incredibly creative platformer with a really unique premise. Amazing - albeit sometimes difficult - level design that throws new concepts into the mix right when you think you've got the jist of everything.
Really creative Platformer with a unique game play loop. Cant recommend it enough.
Cool n awesome n fun platformer! my few complaints are that the walking on ice sounds are a little loud (which'll be patched soon I think) and that the player hitbox is deceptively tall. Very good game do recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic short little game. May make you rage but it's fair and consistent. Really lovely minimalist visuals, nice calming soundtrack, plenty of unique little mechanics to fill up the short playtime. I was on 98 deaths on the last level and told myself I'd quit at 100 and give up, was the most satisfying "Thank you for playing" I've ever earned!
A simple platformer with a really charming mechanics, clearly developed by someone who enjoys making the game. The music is sweet and atmospheric, the minimal colors and graphics are actually quite lovely, and it really shows how much less can be more. The game currently ships with over a dozen levels, though I'm sure more will be coming (level editor and steam workshop support when)
great game and very unique idea. I just wish the player hitbox was fixed because there are a few pixel perfect jumps that I didn't think were possible until finding the right pixel. other than that, great game
