Seems OK - I got through the tutorial. Just nothing there past that, after going up against the crash test dummy robot guys. Is anyone playing this? It might be OK if there was someone else to play with. Has potential.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality
You can view my gameplay & initial impressions review here: https://youtu.be/44rBJBna5XI It's pretty much DOA. Official 1.0 release on the Steam store today. At most I think I saw 3-4 people online playing this. Usually, I only saw one other person. Most of the time the other people were not even interested in trying to do the objectives. Any action I saw was strictly 1 v 1. There are different game modes. You have PVE zombies royale mode. There's the new Overkill mode, that I totally only got to try once because nobody else was choosing this mode. The one time I did get to play Overkill mode, there were only trolls on who didn't want to play the objective and just wanted to harass. I think they might have been hacking as well. Which would be an odd thing to do in an almost dead game. I think I had the most fun in the CTF (capture the flag) and bomb detonation modes. However, again, those were only 1 v 1. There is full locomotion available for one or two of the characters available. They each have different characteristics. Unfortunately, due to not really being able to play any of the modes as intended, I can't say what those differences are other than at least one of them has full locomotion. You usually teleport. In fact, even with full locomotion, you will need to teleport because full locomotion is just too slow. There is snap or smooth turning available in the camera options. The store page description mentions parkour. I think they mean you can teleport vertically up unto buildings and such. Or teleport down into the street. I experienced several bugs. The most annoying one was the my left hand would turn into my right hand. This caused problems with being able to select from the menu that is on your wrist watch on your avatar hand. I also fell off the map twice. Lastly, while not technically a bug, for whatever reason, the teleport button on WMR is the menu button. The map layouts were probably the best part of the game. While everything is low polygon, it still doesn't look half bad. The different guns & special weapons like the bazooka felt fun to use. Unfortunately, I think the game's reliance on using teleport to effectively play this game, caused it to be unpopular. I mean you're giving away this game for free and offering a contest for a free HTC Vive Cosmos and Vive Eye Pro and still can't get players to play this game. Why do you think that is? Bad design choices and bugs. Rate 4.5/10. Even though it's free, I just can't recommend this game. Too many bugs. Reliance on teleport. No turning options. Plus it's just DOA and I doubt that will ever change. *** UPDATE 5/16/2020 **** So I played on the weekend as suggested by the dev and there were definitely more people playing this game. That was surprising because I found the game to be completely broken. I experienced so many bugs. I was getting one-shot and I was wondering why. It seemed there was nothing I could do. But then I was obliterating people and it seemed like there was nothing they could do. It's like you got an invulnerability pill and you can just destroy people while you take no damage. However, it just happens randomly. Not only that, but I was re-spawning at total random locations. Enemies right in front of me. Enemies behind me. Nowhere near my teammates. Dying as soon as I spawned. Killing people as soon as they spawned. It's a mess. Plus the usual clipping over every object. And the bugs I described in my earlier review. Yeah, this game is completely broken. I'm actually revising my score lower. Rate 3/10. Avoid. Not worth the download.

Blastworld was a free to play VR PVP Shooter game. It worked on my system, looked ok, sounded ok, played ? It recently released from EA in May 2020. In the lobby, the devs posted a message that this game is Closing 1 Aug 2020 and there is a countdown time saying same thing. Do not Download, this game is Dead as a dodo.
it is truly a shame to have seen this game die.
I can never find a match.
was a great game not a lot of players but its just cod just good but idk why im writing this cuz the game shut down R.I.P
controlls for wmr for somereason use the trackpad over the stick. The movement and shooting kind of get mixed together kind of an akward mess rn. Hopefully it gets much better overtime
Its a pretty fun game, aside from a few launch bugs game runs fine and is fun. The movement is pretty fun, you can go anywhere in the map which is cool. small files size and its free so why not check it out. its only problem is the lack of people to play but it doesnt seem like it will be a lasting problem
