More cases and a fleshed out storyline make Blackwell Convergence a well-paced, satisfying sequel to Unbound. Rosa's partnership with Joey has matured organically - I think Wadjet Eye was smart to briefly focus on Lauren as a protagonist and give the audience a sense of time progressing. I miss the combining clues mechanic but the puzzles are still top-notch, as is the OST.
E a invasão no apartamento do Frank Lyons?? Tá, tanto faz eu me diverti o suficiente pra aceitar a suspensão da descrença...

I don't remember the specifics, but I enjoyed all of the Blackwell games. The experience evolves over the series, becoming an increasingly high-quality production. I recommend starting with the first game for continuity, then playing through the whole series. If you are like me and not into point-and-click adventure games, I highly recommend using a guide, because the games can be difficult.
almost unplayable because the jazzy soundtrack drowns out the characters voices
Probably the best game of the first 3 in the series, and that's saying a lot because the first two games were already great. This one has more challenging puzzles and an awesome story. Very memorable and special game!
The Third Blackwell game feels like it's made a stronger choice of what it wants to be, mechanically. Point and click gameplay with the secondary character of a ghost to open doors for new puzzles and methods of interaction that helps make it distinct. The guidance system in this one felt much more useful, keeping me from needing to ever search externally to solve the case. Joey's "charming misogynist" bit came off as more misogynist than charming for a lot of this venture, but he locked in during the game's back half. The villain did inspire emotion in me, and the usage of continuity between games helped this one feel more like a mystery to be solved where the answer wasn't just "Ghost things that you didn't know" than previous titles. I know the last two titles in the series are larger, and hopefully will keep building on the successes of their predecessors, with more fun ways to interact with the environment as Joey. Rosa is coming into her own quickly, but like a certain character asks in the game, will it be enough?
Overall the most flashed out Blackwell game, despite being the shortest, also it could just be that I got better at understanding the Blackwell formula, cause two playthroughs (with a crash in the second) took me 4 hours, while the others nearly reached 6, so it's on the same level pretty much. As a game it feels much more like a puzzle game, but it still mostly consist of looking up information you hear and while the story is engaging there still wasn't a puzzle that blew me away like the new Dave does, hopefully Deception changes that, given the ending, it is made clear that the last two games are looking up to be extremely good too. I would recommend it to anyone who liked the first two games, the series is still awesome, and it's pretty much keep on raising it's own bar with each installment.

Excellent soundtrack. Short and well thought story with great references to last century's NY. Must be played after the first 2 games.
