Very nice time. Simple game, with some difficulty. Good exploration, but not infinite. Beautiful world. Sympathetic character

I'm sure it's a game for someone, but not me. In the tutorial it kept telling me to pick up wood and feathers, but there were no feathers. I searched the whole area 4 times, I only got the sticks and crystals from the slugs. I reset the game and the feathers were actually on the ground that time. Frustrating being unable to open the inventory or do anything in the tutorial when the item it wants you to get is missing completely. I got this with the ARPG bundle from humble bundle. I was hoping for a bit more action, again it's for someone but not something I personally enjoyed

Blacktail is a fine game. It's clearly not the one you will reinstall from time to time, yet, it's a game that will make you live a story for about 8 hours (more or less, depends if you explore or not). It is quite a repetitive game since you'll basically do the same thing over and over : collect materials, craft arrows, shoot arrows at the ennemies, find materials, watch a cinematic, fight a boss, watch another cinematic... Yet it didn't bother me. It's not a game which has a story only because it needed it, the main point is the story, the gameplay after. And I must say, it's a great one. I would recommend it only if you play for the story. Otherwise, you might consider other games.
