Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Considering this game is the first game made by the studio, it is not bad despite some of the content could definitely have been better. Don't let the unpolished beating animation at 0:02 and walking animation at 0:23 in the first trailer turn you off; the game is worth trying. Think of it as a simpler version of Balder's Gate 1. By the way, I suggest that players set the difficulty as at least Veteran; combats in lower-tier difficulties might be a bit too easy.
A fun CRPG that feels straight from the 2000s. It is very nostalgic, from its sound design, loading screens, to area layouts, and quests. Its not afraid to be little bit weird and adhere to the rule of cool in ways that most modern games don't bother with. The down side to that is some of the quests are confusing and its easy to miss quest giving NPCs with some them hidden of the second stories of generic sounding buildings and looking exactly like the surrounding NPCs. You think to check every building but there are so many houses with just a barrel or nothing in them until a quest makes the inhabitants appear that this is a real chore. you can mess up quests before you get given them by selling or removing items before the quest. There was also a few times where the quest had a next step that felt very out of left field and I had to consult an online guide to figure out for instance, that "finding information" in a location meant robbing a museum. The Greed system leaves a bit to be desired, I was playing as generous but I felt no need or temptation to be greedy because gold was so easy to come across. I plan to do a second playthrough at some point going full greed to see how it compares as there are some interesting characters on the greed side. There are a few areas for improvement which I think would improve the game a lot and home the devs implement if they ever do another patch. Have an opening cutscene explaining who you are and what you are doing in Lord Espen's estate. The information that is in your compendium is what should be told to you before the character creation scene. More information in the Compendium, after finishing I am still confused by how many gods there are and what their domains are. There are those statues in the capital and on the cliffs with a bunch of statues, are those all the gods I don't know they aren't interactable. What is with that dome in the north? Got from NPCs it was but there to stop a war but what? huh? Make the ending slides, slides instead of the scroller, I'm a fast reader and it was painfully slow to wait. edit: minor add-on for something I remembered. I played as a necromancer and it was cool I got special dialog with Jade because of it but it made it more jarring when I could only react negativitly to The Sea Hag been undead, bit of an oversight there. I have said a lot of criticism for a positive review but it is despite everything really fun, if you like CRPGs please give Black Geyser a go and I am really looking forward to seeing more of the world that GrapeOcean had made.
Black Geyser delivers a solid classic cRPG experience that I genuinely enjoyed, its RTwP combat evoke nostalgic Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 vibes. My issue is the lack of quality-of-life features like repositioning AoE spells mid-cast is frustrating, as all enemies often evade them before the slow casting animation completes, rendering most AoE spells ineffective.
Copilot said: Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness – Kurze Rezension Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness orientiert sich klar an den großen isometrischen CRPG-Klassikern wie Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale oder Pillars of Eternity.
It's not quite Baldur's Gate I or II, but it's got the same spirit. It was fun.
Great game that reminded me of Baldur’s Gate and Icewind Dale, with some quality-of-life features like a fast walk mode outside of combat. The graphics are great, and the exploration and gearing were fun. The main game + expansion took about 28 hours to complete. I love the way the world map works, like in Baldur’s Gate. My only gripe was the load times. I had to restart periodically when it got too bad. There are some QoL improvements to mitigate this, like being able to instantly go to certain quest NPCs or to the world map. Fully recommended. Please keep making great games like this!
It started fine, but later in the game, the bugs are plenty, the plot is uninspired and the gameplay is boring.
The beginning was slow at first but after around chapter 2 it picks up you can tell they were influenced alot by the original Baldurs Gate series. Fine by me bring me some more. Respect the FLAIL
