This game ruined MMOs for me. After engaging with BDO's combat system it's actually impossible to enjoy any baby-safe tab target game. Even solid action combat games pale in comparison. It's hard to describe how dynamic the combat is. The skills look and feel and flow and sound incredible and the sheer number of classes and playstyles available can be daunting. But when you find "your" class and spec something falls into place and you won't be able to go back to just pointing/clicking on enemies. On top of that I adore the (near) unlimited progression, both vertical and horizontal. It's so unusual these days to be able to login to a game and continuously make progress to your account for hours, days, weeks, months, years in a row even if there are no new content drops. PVE, PVP, Group Content, and a dozen-ish in depth lifeskill systems (horse training, cooking, alchemy, etc.) will keep you engaged for YEARS. The game is technically what I'd call 'P2W' in that you can convert IRL cash to in-game power, but none of that is necessary and you won't be buying max gear unless you want to drop north of like $20k. There are a couple of cash shop items that are borderline necessary, but PA has reduced the number of those over the years. Given that BDO itself is usually less than $10, I'd say you can FULLY enjoy the game by spending no more than you would on any other AAA game release. Sadly the devs started adding more guardrails like other MMOs/games with weekly quest/reward lockouts, pvp restrictions, pve damage caps to funnel you into specific grind zones, etc. Hopefully they go back to the glory days when this was a true sandbox MMO now that the team is done working on Crimson Desert. Regardless... with 10k hours on console + my time on Steam, it's safe to say BDO is my favorite game of all time.

Damn stupid game cutscene after cutscene they talk too much That I skip everything, they keep talking about names Idk, events and other things and I only got a taste of few combat and then another dialogue then cutscene.
