Bit-Cremental: Fishistry

If you want an idle game that hijacks your dopamine and gives you a ton of things to work toward for dozens of hours, this isn't that. If you want something more akin to a cute desktop distraction that you check in on here and there for a few hours, this fits the bill. The progress is pretty slow feeling until the endgame and it didn't often hit a very satisfying balance for me, but for a few bucks the cute aesthetic was pleasant enough to carry me through catching all of the fish. It's a light recommend from me, but by no means is it bad.

This is a pretty slow-paced surface level idler without much going on. It's got a good aesthetic, but unfortunately the retro presentation isn't much to go on by itself. The sound and music becomes grating too, so I don't think there's much worth getting this for and I wouldn't recommend it.

It's an enjoyable little game that can be played while you watch videos or listen to podcasts. I highly recommend buying the "full-color" DLC to support the developer. It's a cozy game. It also has a reset button if doing it all the first time wasn't enough :D (You don't get anything for doing it again but it's an option if you want to heh). Highly recommend!

Yeah, it's a bit pointless, but it sat on my second screen, entertaining me for an evening and a half, and that's good enough for a game I paid a few cents for. It's an idle game. Active gameplay is basically nonexistent. The worst part by far was the fact that it starts up with the CRT filter active, which made me unable to read all the tutorials it throws at me before it lets me access the menu to turn that nightmare off.

The kind of idler you ideally check on every 15 minutes to buy some upgrades. I enjoyed 100%ing it :)

Very fun game that can be played in background. Progress just fast enough not to be boring. Recommend.

Amazing game! Love collecting fish idler not much to this. Gacha machine gives you baby fish and you feed it then sell to customers.

There isn't much here, even for an idler. You click a button to drop fish and then click in the water to place food. After you get an upgrade that refills the fish and places food automatically, alt+tab and let the game play itself. Check back every now and then and buy more upgrades. Sure, it's cheap, but there are free idlers with more to them. At least it's easy to get 100% Steam achievements if you care about that sort of thing.

Completed it and it's pretty fun, I recommend people give it a shot if people like incremental games with pixel graphics.

Genuinely a cute little idle game that you can beat in an afternoon. Bought the DLC and was surprised at the lengths the developer went to capture that nostalgic visual style. I see your effort Developer, well done. <3
