In BioShock 2, you step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as you explore through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7/day in the week to Aug 20 → 7/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great so far, gameplay feels a lot smoother than the 1st. Thankfully ran into no crash issues as well so may be PC dependant.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

BioShock 2 is a great sequel to the first game. Rapture is still an amazing setting, with incredible atmosphere, lots of detail, and a great soundtrack. The combat is even better, especially since you get to play as a Big Daddy, using the drill, weapons, and Plasmids in different ways. The Little Sister sections also add interesting choices and make the gameplay more engaging. The story is good and has some memorable moments, but in my opinion, it doesn't reach the level of the first BioShock. Still, it's a very fun experience and definitely worth playing if you enjoyed the original. 9/10 — Recommended.
good game
Part 2 is still great but not as great as part 1 but still recommend it ♥
jogasso, melhor que o 1 mesmo a historia sendo um pouco inferior
Bioshock 2 is an excellent game, but this remaster is not. The game crashes constantly, save files are prone to corruption, and in many areas the original looks superior. Avoid this and play the original Bioshock 2 if you can.
man, i forgot how amazing this game was. for gameplay, there is a good bit that has changed, as a big daddy you now have the ability to carry heavy weapons, which are just bigger versions of the same types you have used in the first game, but you also have access to plasmids at the same time in a dual wielding format. the game also has more slots for perks, and plasmids as well as research being changed to now be a sort of timed mini game of damaging enemies to get passive buffs instead of perks that need to be slotted. there are a few new enemies and while you fight other daddies to take their sister, you now fight big sisters which are faster and use plasmids instead of weapons. story is kind of you fighting your way through rapture with your only goal of finding the sister you are bonded to, since you are an older daddy model, you care only about the one you were assigned. even though you can help the others, or take them like in the first game. what you do changes endings again, but it feel more impactful because of what you choose, and if you spared the few sane people, it can change how eleanor will see and interact with the world. music is nice, it is a good mix of their own music and some classical things that fit the time frame. graphically, coming right off of the remaster of the first. it is still, i would say, a massive improvement. much better lighting, cleaner models, more enemies on screen at once, there are more effects going on as well as just how many traps you can slam into a single room and even in the heat of combat, no lag or frame drops. my only really problems with this game ended up being that, electrical effects causes broken sort of screen tearing, but it only really happened alone in small rooms. and aside form one crash right before i could start the game requiring me to go through the starting cutscene again, the last level became so unstable that i ended up saving every couple rooms to save myself time. the worst part ended up being the very final horde fight at the very end where i had to save every few kills to not keep crashing out of the game. which unfortunately ended up being like 10 times. honestly other than my gripe with whatever went downhill on the last 5 minutes of the game, it was a lot of fun to go through. it felt kind of short, mostly because you have like 5 areas to play through, even though they end up being pretty decent in size.
