A decent F2P platformer worth a shot. I'v played the other game made by the students of Le Campus ADN (called Dystopy) and when I compare the two I find this game a lot better constructed. The bad points on that game are pretty much the opposite on this one; Attuning music, No FPS drops, a quick tutorial jumping early into the puzzle elements and the environment has an appealing look. I noticed one bug that kept coming back a few times, not activating certain objects when you press the right button at the first attempts (having to reposition slightly in order to work) but this is a minor issue. Besides that the game is in french, but even so the mechanics are understandable without knowing the language. The biggest con is probably the combat being dull and I pretty much skipped the mobs as much as possible. Luckily the platforming action makes more than up for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5QVnB_evlI
Biomydra, its not a bad indie game, and I really liked the environments. If you like platformers and area already interested in Biomydra id recommend you check it out.

"Biomydra" is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from Campus ADN in Canada. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. The students made a short, simple platformer that's nothing more than a basic tech demo that lacks depth and playability... and polish. Like all student projects, it's a janky mess, just good enough to feature in a portfolio to try convince someone to hire them. Why this unpolished jank being published on Steam ia good for gamers is a mystery... but I can answer it simply, it's not good for gamers at all. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. This game is fairly dated at 9 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. It would be unethical for students to try charge money for their homework assignments, so you don't have to pay any money for this. But you'd still have to spend your time downloading this, and "time is money", as they say. There's the other problem, too... as a student project, this wasn't made for gamers. There's no requirement for them to polish and balance the game properly, all they need is something to show the faculty so they can get their grade and move on. Let's once more ask... why is that good for gamers? It's obviously not delivering a solid product. Yet here it is, on the store page, and here you are, reading my review for a student demo that's going to waste your time. While genuine amateur developers who made real products get ignored because they have to compete with this stuff. In some ways, this deluge of student projects on Steam is harmful to everyone. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 9 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Since this is more of a student tech demo than a full, genuinely made game for gamers, and offers no Steam features, like a +1 to your game count, I can't recommend downloading this over a full, professionally made game, of which there are thousands here on Steam.

God awful. Absolutely no feedback on anything you do. Very ugly.
