About
In BIOMORPH, players must use their skills to explore a vast, varied world. Solve puzzles and platforming challenges, fight deadly monsters and take their shapes to use their powers. But beware – every conquered creature can come back with new and even more threatening powers. Players will level-up their character as they fight through the vast areas around the city, collecting new abilities, mementos and chips. The journey will reveal surprising and alarming truths about our hero’s own origins.

Play as the enemies by killing them and taking their shape. You will be able to use their skills to fight other enemies or use their powers to navigate in uncharted territories.

Fight your way through a challenging AI system where previously mimicked creatures unlock new powers to create a unique experience while revisiting areas of the game.

Choose your fighting style by using an arsenal of melee and range weapons, each of them having its own upgrade tree, to bash and shoot enemies. Create different builds in support of your play style by equipping and mixing different unique skills that you can upgrade.

Explore a vast non-linear, interconnected world composed of many different environments, home of optional boss fights, eccentric NPCs, tons of secrets and upgrades to reward the most daring explorer.
Rebuild the city of Blightmoor and befriend it's inhabitants, learning more about their daily life and the town’s origins. Customize the look of the city to make it your own.

A solid metroidvania. Combat gets a bit trivial if you like to fully explore areas early (and thus get upgrades). Will definitely come back when the content update is released. And hey, I fully completed this without any help for finding stuff or puzzles or anything. That's always a bonus.
Yes
Nice Matroidvania from QUebec. Story isn't invasive; power-ups are vast, but could be way more powerful and justify not using the main weapon all the time. Controls are nice, difficulty customizations allow for a break where similar games like Hollow Knight will force you to grind for hours to get through a boss, but the move that allows us to flow into cables got me to stop playing, it just never works and control is abysmal. I look forward when you ring me when this is fixed.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Awesome game!!! The morph ability gives an amazing puzzle variety on top of regular metroidvania ones
Becoming slain creatures gives the game a genuinely unique spin on dark action platformers. Solving clever puzzles while navigating stunning hand drawn environments feels deeply satisfying. Defeating enemies lets you absorb distinct forms, unlocking traversal abilities and unleashing powerful combat skills. The sci‑fi aesthetic looks gorgeous, offering highly readable silhouettes against beautifully ruined backgrounds. Upgrading melee and ranged weapons creates meaningful combat flexibility. Meeting quirky non‑playable characters adds charm and helps rebuild a sprawling fallen civilization. Fights carry real weight, giving boss encounters a strong sense of challenge. Reconstructing the central town provides a fun progression loop alongside standard exploration. Exploring the vast, interconnected map rewards careful observation with secrets and upgrades. Returning to previous areas reveals fresh challenges, since mimicked monsters learn new powers over time. Experiencing the fluid platforming and meaty action delivers lasting enjoyment for fans of nonlinear exploration.
A good Metroidvania with one really clever idea — and one really frustrating problem. I enjoyed my time with Biomorph. The platforming feels good overall, the world has some nice variety, and the different areas keep things visually interesting. The boss fights are fairly easy, with simple patterns, so don’t expect anything too challenging. The transformation mechanic is probably the most interesting thing about the game. The idea itself is great, but unfortunately it’s also the game’s biggest weakness. You often have to travel all the way back to a save point just to change your form, then repeat the same route again. After a while, this becomes more annoying than fun, especially when you’re only doing it because the game requires a specific form to progress. Despite that, Biomorph is still a solid and enjoyable Metroidvania. I had a good time with it and would recommend it, just don’t expect anything extraordinary. 7/10 Played entirely in handheld mode on the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme.
