Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Snake Logan is a top-secret operative for the CIA ordered to complete missions that others would regard as suicidal. One day, Snake is called into headquarters and briefed on a situation that has arisen in Metro City.
It seems that thousands of monster-like creatures are on a rampage of destruction through the city. Many thousands have already died, and Metro has declared martial law just before losing all communications. Right before the city was overrun, authorities received a message from a man calling himself Dr. Mangle. He stated that Metro is to be an example of what will happen to the rest of the world unless all factions of government comply with his wishes.
Snake is ordered to take a plane, fly recon over the city and then return. While circling over the area, he is suddenly attacked by some kind of laser weapon, and the plane loses engine power! He's forced to make an emergency landing and explore the ravaged city on foot. It's now up to Snake - and you! - to save any survivors, find the source of this destruction, and stop Dr. Mangle.

About as perfect a remastering effort as you could possibly ask for. The new art is a perfect match to the original style, and swapping back and forth between original and remastered graphics makes it clear the developers understood the assignment. The rebalancing makes the game more approachable on the lower skills while preserving challenge on hard. The new episode has tons of new art, new mechanics and items, larger and more complex maps, and even some new enemies, making it some of the best work in the genre. Yet it still feels like it could have been an Ultimate Doom-style add-on created by old Apogee themselves. From a technical perspective also, this is fantastic; sure, it's a DOS game, but we've seen plenty of remasters that run shockingly poorly. But on both a Steam Deck and a secondary laptop with only Intel integrated graphics, 4K120 is no sweat here, and I didn't encounter a single crash or noticeable bug. These classic DOS platformers are a genre not quite like anything you get today, and this is both perfect nostalgia for those of us who were around in those days, and a great introduction to those who missed them. My only complaint would be that it isn't available on more platforms - Mac and console versions please, so I can even more easily recommend this to everyone I know!

I remember playing the first chapter of this game in the early to mid 90s (never bought the second and third chapters). I saw this remastered version and gave it a whirl. The devs did a solid job with Biomenace in remastering it, and the added chapter is great too (especially the music). The options to change the UI of the game are easy from the menu, and you can, with a single button, swap between the remastered graphics and the original 1993 version. Highly recommend if you're looking for old school MS-DOS games to play on modern systems.
I really like this game. I never played it before in the 90s (although I owned a PC). Whoever likes retrogames should give Biomenace Remastered a try. The game save feature makes this game easier for casual gamers, as you can save and reload at difficult parts. Just finished the game. Episode 4 (the new one) is even better than the original episodes!
