Snake Logan is a top-secret operative for the CIA ordered to complete missions that others would regard as suicidal. One day, Snake is called into headquarters and briefed on a situation that has arisen in Metro City.
It seems that thousands of monster-like creatures are on a rampage of destruction through the city. Many thousands have already died, and Metro has declared martial law just before losing all communications. Right before the city was overrun, authorities received a message from a man calling himself Dr. Mangle. He stated that Metro is to be an example of what will happen to the rest of the world unless all factions of government comply with his wishes.
Snake is ordered to take a plane, fly recon over the city and then return. While circling over the area, he is suddenly attacked by some kind of laser weapon, and the plane loses engine power! He's forced to make an emergency landing and explore the ravaged city on foot. It's now up to Snake - and you! - to save any survivors, find the source of this destruction, and stop Dr. Mangle.

I love this game, more should be made.
Amazing remaster by the team that did the same for Duke Nukem II.
I remember playing the first chapter of this game in the early to mid 90s (never bought the second and third chapters). I saw this remastered version and gave it a whirl. The devs did a solid job with Biomenace in remastering it, and the added chapter is great too (especially the music). The options to change the UI of the game are easy from the menu, and you can, with a single button, swap between the remastered graphics and the original 1993 version. Highly recommend if you're looking for old school MS-DOS games to play on modern systems.
As someone who has a lot of nostalgia for DOS platformers from this era (Duke Nukum, Commander Keen, etc) but missed BioMenace the first time around, I'm glad this remastered version gives me an opportunity to check it out now. BioMenace Remastered is a perfect example of how to do game preservation/re-releases right. You can play the game completely in its original presentation, or an updated version that is fancier, but still evocative of the original experience. If the underlying game wasn't good, then the above would be admirable, but ultimately not compelling. But as a first-time player, I'm happy to say that BioMenace holds up and is a delight!
If you enjoy retro games like I do. This is an easy must buy game. There are so many levels. The amount of user made levels is huge and they are excellent. Everything about this collection of games is amazing. Controls the graphics. The sound everything. If you love retro games. Don't hesitate, just go ahead and buy this.
Asi es como se hace un remaster de un juego antiguo 10/10
Thank you for BioMenace Remastered :)
A faithful remaster of a classic pc platformer from the pc golden age of gaming with an entirely new episode added in.
Feels like the game has been completed. Smooth as butter and loving it and only into the tree level. Which I always loved as a kid. Heard there is an editor and would love to create content. Perhaps my own sequence of levels. Great job guys, can see this has been put together with passion for the game, and not just a money grabbing re release like the big N. Recommended. Feels great with my switch pad too. (playing on pc) Happy to support this development and look forward to the new chapter too. Hope I can make my own and share it.
