If you like floating through space with no sound and poor graphics while asking yourself how did my life get so low. Then this is the game for you.

kinda neat but it also crashed for me at one point. came back in, watched two vids and before I even got through everything it rolls to credits. I'm not gonna bother wondering if there's more content to be paid for or it's just broken. who cares?
"Biodigital" isn't a game. Real games require "gameplay" through loops and interaction, both of which are missing from this "art project". Rather than functioning as a game, "Biodigital" is just a software app that presents a low-quality art "experience". The subject of this art school dropout exercise is the "artist" explaining to you patronizingly about what they think Ray Kurzweil's "Singularity" is. They are wrong. And they chose to publish their laughably awful misinterpretation as a garbage VR tech demo, to annoy Steam gamers I guess, who are looking for PC games, not art installations. We get this non-game shovelware on Steam whenever your usual Starbucks barista/McDonalds frycook art school dropout finally gets a restraining order from the local art galleries so turns to Steam Direct to try get their art published somewhere so they can finally dream of moving out of their parents basement. It's true that games can be art... art is where the pinnacles of craftsmanship and quality meet vision and narrative to create an experience far greater than the sum of the parts. This isn't a game at all, and the craftsmanship and narrative are terrible. This isn't making art better, it's just making gaming worse. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Here's an example of a game loop. In Dark Souls, you explore an area, encounter an enemy, fight that enemy and if the computer lets you survive, you repeat that loop with the computer providing you with new enemies. Another example is Candy Crush, where you rearrange your gems and if you create a match, they're eliminated, you get rewarded, and then the game provides you with more gems to match to repeat the process. There's no such loop here, no true interactive feedback. It simply is not a game, it cannot be "played". Launching these "artistic" applications in the "Games" category on Steam is incredibly misleading. Many amateur "developers" don't seem to understand that an interactive gallery is not a game! We should assume this is ignorance over malice, but it's still a non-game published in the wrong section. Nobody read Wordsworth's "Daffodils" and then said "Wow what a great game that was". The correct process for publishing non-game software is found here: Steam Developer Help With Software Publishing It is a shame the developer failed to follow the correct process, as we now have this garbage interactive art demo taking up space in the games section where it doesn't belong. This kind of store pollution makes it harder for gamers to find real, quality games. This lacks any gameplay or meaningful interaction, it's a very poor quality art project, not a game. Because we're here in the games section looking for real games, I have to warn people away from this incorrectly published junkware. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at only 7 concurrent viewers... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away.
It's about 10-15 minutes. A little buggy and non-intuitive controls.

For vive, instead of the usual trigger button for selections, you have to press up on the trackpad to select "enter".
For the globe, you just need to tap the markers once. Any more and the videos may not play right.
There's no sound at all until it begins, and while I was able to get the sound to play through the vive headset, it doesn't support swapping the sound source (headphones/pc speakers/htc-vive) once the program has launched so make sure the right one is active beforehand.
graphics is not wow which would be not a reason for me to give negative review if it is compensated by other features of the game but they are worse than the graphics view direction was 90° to my right with no possibility to reset it to my front. so I always had to turn right. also it was a little too high for playing seated. Oculus controller work somehow but buttons are weird at least I am not sure what button did the trick. i think it was pressing the stick I could not figure out what it was all about, I managed to see some short clips about events in history, without sound or anything while i had to turn my head over my right shoulder and press the right stick of my controller Eventually I got some sound... at least for 3 seconds between I closed the game and Oculus home showed up
Seems to assume Vive controls, I can't find a way to make Rift controls work.
