****UPDATED 19 HOURS LATER**** I honestly don't know what I saw in this game when I clicked on it under 'Upcoming Games', but I immediately Wish-listed it and went on with my day. Maybe a week later I get an email saying BBA is in Early Access. Dope, its Thursday after work and I'm on PTO tomorrow, so LONG WEEKEND!!!! After fiddling with anti-virus, because program names matter :D, it loads and I'm staring at some doubloons floating on a cloud bridge ahead of me. So I press forward to walk and notice how slow I move.... "Man this kind of sucks, it looked like they were flying in the trailer..." then I see some signs saying how I need to bend my knees to go faster. I press forward on the stick and start bobbing which sends me dashing forward, but in my surprise I stop right in the middle of a cloud *panic* as I fall into the water for fish food. "Wait what.... I'm still here??" and there's the bridge, but this time I see the flag and fortress in the distance and I know how to run! ------- 20 hours later my legs are killing me, I've sped climbed the equivalent of Kirkjufell in a little under 2 minutes, and I've probably annoyed the hell out of the Devs with my questions and bug reports. But honestly I'm looking forward to keep mastering courses and hopefully someday figure out what this blue diamond is for ;D ---{ Graphics }--- ☑ Decent ---{ Gameplay }--- ☑ Some mechanics feel better than others early on but gameplay seems to be balanced. ---{ Audio }--- ☑ Good ---{ Audience }--- ☑ Teens ☑ Adults ---{ PC Requirements }--- ☑ Decent ---{ Difficulty }--- ☑ Easy to learn / Pretty Hard to master ---{ Grind }--- ☑ Make your own adventure ☑ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks (13sec Blue Course| 39sec Red | 115sec Yellow) ---{ Story }--- Yar har, fiddle de dee Being a pirate is alright with me! ‘Big Booty Adventures’ is a pirate-themed adventure game that kind of jumps into the game with no menu to speak of. You just start off in the tutorial learning all about the controls, but this intro is also part of the grander adventure which is kind of odd. Sure, its low-poly in terms of looks, but there is a bigger, more immersive adventure to be had here with a nice sense of free exploration. Sadly it is the controls I hate the most. Bouncing up and down to run is annoying, but throwing your one arm to jump is utterly frustrating. If you could just change the buttons in the settings this game would be much easier and way more fun. On the whole, I do think this game is well worth the money and indeed a download, but the frustrating controls and confusing start will put a lot of people off it.
booty
very fun game to play with mates, also very cheap. buy it
Scam trailer looked good but when play it suck ♥♥♥♥ very bad suck ♥♥♥♥
The game feels both incredibly well done, but also super early access. The bones are very good though and it's busting with bootylicious potential. Be warned, there are quirks and issues that come with any early access game, but for the price it's well worth a crack. Try it out and refund if you don't see the potential, but I reckon you will too.
horrible game. nothing like the trailer
Such a strange game; so puzzling, so much potential and confusion. Still in early access which is a sign that good things are to come. And don't get me wrong, I'm keen to see how this game develops over time, there's already a satisfyingly huge amount of stuff to do but... Not sure what the plan is to further develop the game be it multiplayer lobbies, campaign, etc... as of yet I find little joy in playing singleplayer. I have no friends so current co-op multiplayer mode isnt an option for me. My selfish self would love lobbies to join (this game reminds me of a crazy massive pirate gorilla tag type game) - to help with my loneliness - and to give this game some player driven meaning. I find default control scheme maniacal, dangerous and sickening, it gives me nightmares and seasickness; I question the dev's humanity for this decision. My earlier comparison to GT; the bonkers style locomotion is great for a legless gorilla - not for limb'd pirates... its almost like ingame lore that player characters are totally maimed, and drugged; or that default locomotion be changed to be, yaknow, default?? Oh yeah and the gunplay, maybe I havn't progressed enough to unlock better weapons but the starting ones at least are flimsy pea-shooters, quite unsatisfying. TLDR cool world very promising strange decisions all over the place increase multiplayer capacities pls
Interesting game but the tutorial when u get to the shovel part is buggy i cant dig up the item i dont know if the tutorial was made for the Oculus Rift , climbing is also a bit off (buggy) , id like to see a option to turn off controller vibrations
I am in love with this game (only two hours in) but this is already one of my favorite games! A little tip for new players, it is hard to figure out how to get out of the tutorial without knowing how to. So let me give you a pro gamer tip. Press the opposite button to the Oculus home/menu button (I am on oculus not sure what it would be called on other headsets) or the equivalent to that button. After pressing that button it will pull up a menu. Press go the base... ta da you have gotten out of the tutorial. The rest you kinda just go around how you please as it doesn't feel like there is a set path you have to follow.
