Big Ambitions is a revolutionary role-playing business sim. Go from nothing to the biggest entrepreneur in New York by opening small businesses or slowly building huge corporations any way you like.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20/day in the week to Aug 28 → 78.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Your bank balance is tiny, but your ambitions are big.
With a little help from your uncle, you get an apartment and your first job. But then it's up to you to achieve success and take over New York City any way you like.
Slowly build multiple small businesses, grow them into huge corporations, or carve your own unique path – the possibilities are limitless in this vast business sandbox. You've never played anything like this!
Go from a small apartment and public transport to luxury suites, fast cars and designer furniture. Put your money into investment funds and real estate. Succeed, fail, rebuild. But remember to take care of yourself, sleep and stay happy on your rise to the top.
Do you have what it takes to build your own empire?

Go from nothing to the most prominent tycoon in New York. Start a business, work smart, make it thrive and enjoy your life. How do you want to be successful? How far can you push it? How long can you make it last?
Start your own gift shop, supermarket, coffee shop, law firm, clothing store, liquor store, florist, and more. You decide what success is - whether it’s a single shop, a chain of fast-food restaurants, a huge corporation, or making millions developing websites.
Take out a loan, rent a building, design the logo, renovate the store, get stock, manage your money, hire staff, and build your infrastructure. Soon, you may have to start importing products from the harbour and distributing them through a network of warehouses.
A bigger business means managers. Hire HR Managers, Logistics Managers, and Purchasing Agents. They all need desks and computers, so you’ll need a fancy headquarters.
Need a delivery truck? Travel to a dealer and buy one. Need food? Go to a supermarket, but make sure you have a refrigerator at home. Big Ambitions is a life sim where your character has to physically interact with the world to survive and succeed.
Enter any building in New York and buy it. Go from a small apartment to a dream penthouse in midtown, a luxurious townhouse in Hell’s Kitchen, or a series of skyscrapers. Fill each with furniture that suits your style and standing. Invest your hard-earned cash in real estate to grow your empire. Take over the city piece by piece.
Spend your wealth however you wish. Buy a big SUV, a speedy sports car, or the new luxurious Mersaidi S500. Maybe risk it all at the casinos or put your money into investment funds and reap the rewards.
As you progress, you always need to ensure you get enough sleep and stay healthy and happy. Enjoy the journey, for as you grow older, you’ll discover that money can’t buy you time... or can it?
Big Ambitions takes what you love about the viral sensation ‘Startup Company’ to even greater heights.

35 hours in and going strong. The game has a ton going for it, not the least of which is the freedom to build your businesses how you see fit. I haven't even gotten to factories yet and I've already seen so much. I just started a youtube channel, and had several games lined up for my first video. After playing Big Ambitions, I knew it was this one. Happy to review it, and give it the love it deserves. My only critiques is the camera angle while driving, and the music options are a little lacking. But otherwise, it's a stellar tycoon style game!
Some mechanics in this game can be a little frustrating at times, such as e.g. needing to sleep for a week straight to build up the funds for something, and every other way of doing so being even more tedious than just sleeping for a week. Also, this game reeeeeeaaaaaalllly needs improvements to the music system. It's such an integral part of the game, but there are only a few tracks in the game (that get repetitive very quickly) and the custom-mp3 radio functionality doesn't allow me to skip tracks (you just select local files and then that's it) and doesn't allow subfolders where I could split by genre. So you either choose between the same 20 tracks on repeat (but you can choose the genre), or your full personal library of mp3s, but you can't skip songs or choose genres. Besides the above two points however, it's an awesome game and I fully recommend it. I'm having a lot of fun overall, and it feels like a "micromanagement empire building"-type game which is my favourite genre. If you want to try something that feels fresh and different from other games and is a mix of management-sim, economy-sim, and sim-city-like, then this is for you. Update: After playing for another 15h I have one more criticism I feel needs voicing ---> This game is going to give me carpal tunnel syndrome with the sheer amount of clicking needed to do everything that is utterly unnecessary. Even the most basic things take 10+ clicks to set, such as asking a recruiter agency to find me some employees. Also, why do menus always reset? E.g. if I want to see the preview of all possible layouts in a interior design office, rather than clicking through them, I have to instead completely reenter all info of the building size and type just to see another layout variant. There are tons of QoL issues like that in the game, which don't prevent it from being a great game, but do make it much much more of a tedious experience than it could be.
это big balls
Began this with high hopes, got a massive loan from the bank and built my burger store and things were looking good so i bought a lot of cigs and liquor. I have to train my employee so the rest of my money goes to that. Tax man knocks at my door that night and my money is gone. The mf i just trained quits on me the next day cause " I aint gettin enough shifts boss" And i cant even afford the burgers for the grill, Will be spending lots of time playing this game...most of it door dashing. Just please add the ability to drink liquor and smoke the cigs
When I started playing Big Ambitions, I told the community manager that I'd post a review when the game came out of early access and I had 1,000 hours of playtime. Well, here it is, David. It's a great game with great developers and a great community. None of those are perfect, but they're all great. I've played since the 0.3 version in EA and seen the growing pains. The roadmap for future developments looks terrific and I have no fear that the game will be abandoned for their next title. The randomization of starting conditions and custom gameplay settings offer LOTS of replayability and there are many methods to conquer the business world of NYC. The happiness mechanic gets a bit grindy, but having some mechanic that's a grind is almost a trope in this genre, right? The developers are a great bunch of people that listen to players and really try to incorporate suggestions. (Thanks for finally getting rid of Negative Interest, but did you have to kill my Tactical Homelessness strategy?) Updates are regular and the devs are quick to address bugs and questions, especially on their Discord. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the community around the game. Fan created tools to help you build your empire, blueprints for your businesses so you don't have to figure out optimal floorplans on your own, helpful players that are always ready to lend a hand or answer a question, and now MODS to give you even more options. And I can't forget the good-natured b*ll-busters and memesters on the Discord. Yeah, I'm looking at you, shark-bait. ;) Overall, "It's okay I guess." XD
has about 10 hours actual unique content and then endless hours of boring filler, fetch quests, etc.
Not much to do, and not very hard. If they had removed the "POV" and focused on the business part it might have been funnier, now youre just sitting and waiting for the day to pass. Also not much of a business simulator, missing a lot of spreadsheet. But fun for the first 10 hours.
This is a great business/tycoon simulation game, with amazing potential for growth. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a builder-type game that is immersive and challenging.
