Needs more refinements yet great game with great potential! Best wishes.
I like this game a lot. The gameplay feels smooth and it’s really enjoyable overall !
absolute cinema great art direction, music is perfect for the setting and the game's addicting would recommend for SHMUP enthusiasts ✧ദ്ദി( ˶^ᗜ^˶ )
I played the early version and I really like it! the theme the music and everything now I am excited to try it, especially that its Qatari and Arabs team who worked on this game.
a great great game for those who love pixel art arcade games , it brings nostalgia in a modern way . really enjoyed playing it . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED .
The game is really fun but it desperately needs polish. I have encountered 3 bugs in my 2 hours of playtime and I hope the devs fix them, ill be going over them from least "important" to most 1. if you pick up a shard while a character is talking, he will be cut off and the "mystery man" will start talking. 2. if you get hit with a shot that would normally kill you and your repair drone heals you in the same frame, you will survive with 0 health which looks weird but isnt gamebreaking. 3. If you press the pause button at the same time as the first dialogue of the mission is talking, your game won't pause but your ship will, and if you hold the shoot button it will build up a lot of shots, then press pause again which will acyually bring you into the pause menu, then unpause, it will shoot everything at once, which will either lag your game, or just crash it. The music is really good and the sound design is pretty nice. The art looks gorgeous, especially the plasma boss. The story mode isnt very long, in 2 hours, i was able to finish 8 out of 9 of the missions that are currently available (more or coming) but there is also "survival mode" which is pretty fun and has an online leaderboard. I havent been able to play pvp yet but thats not the dev's fault, it's just that there arent many players online. I would also like if things were explained more, like each drone for example, i still dont know what the tactical one does. There is a description for the super weapond but i read them and the feel VERY chat GPT made. The voices of the bosses aren't good, its just text to speech with a voice changer on top. Overall good game which needs polish.
Music and theme are great, reminds me of some of the euro-type and japanese story-based shooters of the late 80's and 90's. The graphics are pleasing and everything is clear, and the effects don't get in way of the gameplay. The view perspective, however, needs work, as it strays farther from standard vertical shmups than I've ever seen (but i don't play many, so keep that in mind, there could be worse offenders). It didn't work in some full reboots (not ports) where the original screen was either CRT or rotated CRT, and they tried to make it 16:9 in a new game, which works fine in side scrollers like R-type and Side Arms, but not so well here. Someone pulled a rabbit out of their hat to make it work in Under Defeat HD, but I hope the dev can look into why this perspective doesn't flow well with the gameplay here. Vertical view distance is far too short. It makes it harder to kiil waves that aren't 1-shots, because you don't have time to line up and shoot them, and overall, there is simply not enough vertical spacing to react to enemies and threats properly (it should never be possible to miss a direct wave in a shmup, unless you're designing it like a roguelite). Not sure how this can be addressed, but perhaps slowing down the game speed slightly, shrinking all the models a bit and then changing the view perspective and adding vertical bars to the edges can help address this in the future, without doing a deep redesign. The dev cares about feedback to be sure to post your concerns.
Clean gameplay, responsive controls, and gets intense fast in a good way its simple but fun!. Just needs more content over time :D
its a great game, definitely has room for improvement but overall its a nice game and its worth the price
This game is awesome! It takes me back to the old Raiden arcade games back in the day. The nostalgia is dialed up to 11, and the story is actually surprisingly deep. Love the music, and the voice acting is amazing and immersive.
