About
In an alternate history Europe, “The Nightcap” is the last speakeasy in town, and you’re pouring the drinks… while your customers spill their secrets. Mix and serve cocktails with a twist, as you become a detective while trying to save your bar.

Listen to your clienteles’ stories and learn about their lives as you unravel a mystery that touches every layer of Bukovie society, from the drunken dandies splashing cash on cocktails, to the crooked cops and seedy lowlifes who try to rope you into their shady schemes.
A good bartender knows the art of conversation is just as important as the ability to pour libations, so listen carefully and keep your wits about you as you delight, charm or even threaten your patrons to get the information you need. With a cast of 20 unique and engaging characters it’s up to you to choose who you can trust, who will have your back… and who will stab you in it!

Over the course of five cases, you’ll have to explore every clue and question every suspect to save lives… and save your business. It’s time to flip that sign to open, turn up the jazz and welcome your first customers of the night.
Bukovie may be a city in strife, with labour strikes, rationing, unrest and the shadow of war looming, but instead of cowering in fear, the citizens flock to dance halls and speakeasies. Crumbling grandeur might inspire melancholy, but that’s nothing a stiff drink won’t cure.
In a world of dwindling light, your speakeasy is a bonfire in the night. Though the city may soon burn, cocktails are always…
Best Served Cold.

As others have said, it's not a bartender simulator game by any means. But it's comfy, and the storytelling and the art is uniquely wonderful. It truly can scratch the itch that I want from a game such as this. It's easy enough to cheese if you need the hints but the game gives you what you give it. The vibe of the game and the characters make it easy to look past the repetition and fall in love with every bit of the game.
I absolutely love this game. I audibly squealed and screamed so many times. The characters are incredibly well written; their stories captivating and interesting even if they have nothing to do with the mystery. The fact that you're solving murder from behind the bar makes this game very different from similar games I have played, and ensures that it stays engaging. I was stumped a few times because I forgot to show a clue to someone or because I avoided a certain topic with someone, but overall I found this game extremely fun and engaging to play. THE LAST CASE THO! AAAH!
Every case draws you in and you continue to see how it effects everyone you talk to. As you grow closer and get to know the people who enter you find more about why they act, do, or speak as they do. This game continues to interest me and the story of each case makes me want to find out who did it and why.

Played the demo because I love murder mysteries and the art/general direction seemed cool and as soon as I finished that I purchased the full game because I was hooked! I love the merge of bartending with detective work, the art is gorgeous, the writing is fun, and the gameplay is engaging. I enjoyed solving each puzzle and putting together the clues. Will absolutely be turning in to other projects by this team. Money well spent!
Well-plotted and well-written, just difficult enough for someone who plays a lot of detective games, but easy enough mechanics for someone to learn if theyre new to these types of games.
