good game with good art choices do matter for what kind of ending you want as well and its kind of tricky to figure out how yo unlock all the cg scenes game really needs a guide for that
This one was pretty decent and the art style is different which made it enjoyable. I like the voice work and it being english is a nice touch! It helps get you into the moments. I do think there are some minor complaints. I found replaying the game to get everything unlocked a bit lame. It just ate up some time, as you mostly just skip until you make a few choices. I think just an "unlock all" at the end would have been better. The story is fun enough and gets you into the world enough that I was having a decent time. There are a few choices and that work to make it feel like you have some degree of agency. There are a number of special scenes and they are decent. The pacing of the story is okay. Ultimately it feels a bit short. There are some better free games I have played but I think the unique art and the voice work does add some value to this. If they fit your interests it is at least a fun time. Note that I beat this entirely in 2.7 hours and that is with having to speed through it a few times for the completion stuff. With all that you can make your choice.
THIS is exactly what I wanted the DLC on Faulty Apprentice to be simply because it continues the story after the ending of the last game, the fact that it is longer than the DLCs, has better art, and multiple routes makes it a best case scenario too. Now this is it's own stand alone package and I finished all of it in 4 hours (though skipping what I've already seen before on other routes), if that's not enough for you in terms of a VN then so be it. I'm really curious about the art books for everything in this studio and if this is the route this universe is gonna take from now on, I 100% approve. Also I feel like I'm missing some context given
Fox guard's
role in the story.
一般,这么多兽娘就搞精灵和哥布林,涩涩方面就是一张动图,不建议买
Short, but a really fun romp around in the beloved Faulty Apprentice universe. I didnt really know what to expect but this is more like the story dlc's for Faulty Apprentice rather than a full blown game of its own and continuation of the story, but it is well worth the price. The artstyle is top notch, gotta love the designs and the animations are also surprisingly good. Beyond that, the game retains much of the humor of its predecessor and its written quite well, the characters are consistent with the main game, generally very loveable and fun to be around, tho its clearly much more quick paced, one could even say rushed since what I assumed would be a fun side adventure actually does connect to the overarcing story, something that was a very nice surprise, but came at a cost of not being able to really take time with either the main girls, nor the buildup for the future storytelling. I appreciate them trying to keep the world moving forward even in games that clearly have other main objectives... and those objectives are very well fulfilled here :D Tho I have noticed some bugs that are still around, nothing too big but some animations seem to sort of skip without input and loading in a scene with a decision shows you the next backround and dialogue even before you input your choice. Its just distracting nothing more. Overall, cant wait for more, Faulty Apprentice 2 cant come out soon enough.
Definitely one of the Best Elf's around.
short but very fun game. i like dudrnel voice actress, he is very funny and cool. i don't like part where the girls are talk to each other and fight, wen we can all love each other. game is very short, maybe there can be more tho? :)
So, hear me out, you are a ocupied person looking to get your endorphin dosis before keep going in your mission of savin humanity, curing illiness and fighting the vampires that THEY dont want us to know about. But right know you need relax, you need... ELF (plural) so this game is going to give it to you. Serious talk, the girls are now animated, the sex scenes have a descriptive text (its need to be more to be interesting, but is a improve over FA), you have very cool partial voice acting (even when durandall sounds sometimes like he is recording with a 80s microphone), you can see more of some characters who doesnt get a lot of time out of their role in FA and a new adventure continuing the story. Now, the not-good-but-not-bad-either: the game is short, what I undesrtand but I was hoping for a little bit more (more in story, and some more h-scenes, even if they were basic, 6 or 8 are to little i guess); the lenguage of the game become more vulgar (with this I mean that some dialogue went from spicy to explicit), this feels weird because the first game was more tame or sutil about it, and i dont feel it like something the characters (the characters = Durandall) would say so directly. The bad, well, this is more than nothing QoL things. No shortcuts with the mouse, a ugly (but functional) UI, and moanings too loud and that you cant silence without silence the voices. Also there is no fetishes here, all is vanilla, wich i get but a little of difference between one charcater and other could be fun (if shark guard one day get the spot light, some bite roleplay could be fun for example). all and all, a good experience with oportunity to be better, god bless i live in a age with internet and me and my hommies dont need to pass a lewd poster between one another to get one out.
Ive so far just finished chapter 1 so this is just a early review. So far i have loved what ive experienced so far. The humor is pretty funny the art is perfect the voice acting is just right. If your into visual novels with some spice ill recomd this game. You can tell the devs put alot of love into thier work and it shows.
