Still A great game
I don't know what I should say xD I finished this game in 82mins with every Achievment and I could litterly refund it now! The Challanges at all are damn boring because they are so repetative. At all I am a bit disapointed but still a bit fun to play the arcade if you want to waste time a bit but yeah. I would not recomment it but I will at the same time so I give it Thumb Up for now.
Very fun. Plays great on the Deck.
The golden age of arcades <3 Atari > Adamvision Studios > SneakyBox
I've been playing Berzerk since the 2600 days, one of my favorite Atari games. With that said I have no issue with this new version. Fun fast gameplay, 2 players option, good music, feels just like any other conversion of the Recharged series. I don't understand the hate for it, not sure what other fans were expecting. If I had the opportunity to play both versions back in the 80s, the Recharged version would've be my favorite. I recommend it, if you're not a purist you will enjoy ir.
Not the best of the Recharged games. I've enjoyed almost all of the new recharged series, but this one missed the mark. The dual stick/press button to shoot just doesn't feel "right" for Berzerk, the controls feel loose and the pacing of the game is off. Good Thing is the Original Berzerk still holds up and is quite playable. So the fundamentals of a Recharged 2 game would be achievable. Give this one a pass unless they retool the game and control scheme. Maybe remove the push button to fire and just map to the 2nd stick? Then slow the pace by about 10% for the character speed to add some drama to the chase.
i don't like when the smiley calls me a chicken :(
