About

Attention Operator,
You have been selected to oversee a critical mission. Our team of elite soldiers is set to descend into a newly discovered abyss, believed to lead to uncharted territories beneath the earth. Your role is to monitor the soldiers' progress, ensuring their safety and collecting data.

As they venture deeper, remain vigilant and provide guidance based on their transmissions. You will have access to a status monitor, a radar, a radio to scan various frequencies, and other equipment to assist in your mission.
Be aware that communication may become sporadic as they descend. Strange anomalies have already been detected, and the nature of the abyss remains unknown.

Prepare for the unexpected and maintain operational readiness at all times. Prepare to face the unimaginable.
End of message.

If you read one thing from my review, let it be this; This is, in my opinion, one of the best eldritch horror/lovecraftian games ever created. You'll love this if you love slow burn psychological horror, non-combat, puzzle solving, and a game that relies on you to focus. You will not enjoy this game if you're looking for action, if you dislike "walking sim" horror, or if you're looking for something a bit more interactive. The biggest complaint I'd be willing to wager some folks might have will be that it's more of a playable movie. So if you're not into that, here's your warning. This is a shorter game, I clocked it at about 2 hours (I had one glitch that had me restart the game after wandering around for 30 minutes), but at about $8 I think that's more than reasonable. I consider myself a very well versed veteran of horror. I consume enough of the genre that I consider myself decently difficult to shake. This one got me well enough that I was creeping around my house in the aftermath of playing it to completion. THE VIBES ARE IMMACULATE. It's a super simple, very straightforward premise. You're in Soviet-era Russia and take on the role of an operator heading a team of soldiers/researchers investigating a newly uncovered cave complex. Everything is seen through the lens of a 1978 film camera filter. You monitor data and communications as they are relayed through the various computers and analog retro tech around your office (built right in front of the gaping maw into the underworld your team is investigating). Your job is to uncover what lies below and see your team through to the end alive. The moment you step off the elevator, you're treated to a perfectly crafted immersive experience. I do not want to spoil anything for you here, go play this game if you enjoy puzzle horror games. Do yourself a favor and play this late at night with the lights on and lock in, the more you get your mind immersed in it, the better.

Very fun game, pretty spooky. Story is fun! I like the concept a lot and I feel it was executed rather well. The endings weren't bad, but not much was answered. One of those 'up to religious interpretation' sort of deals. Still, a good fun, short, experience! :D
偏文字类型的恐怖游戏,非常无聊
Its ok for the price, but somehow it loses its focus overtime.
What a cool ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game! I found all the cassette and VHS tapes, but baby Jesus eludes me. Got the "Way to go, you killed your team you dumbass" ending. Looking forward to standing by while my team dives back in to get the other endings.
Безыдейная кривая ♥♥♥♥♥ без геймплея.
It's good. If you have to pick one or the other, play this instead of MOLE.
叽里呱啦 全是对话 很抱歉我没有耐心玩下去了 1.3小时里全是对话 我实在是给我玩困了 我想骂人 想不明白2026年居然还有这样的游戏 特无聊 报玩
game was alright till it showed the monster and it just looked goofy kinda took from the scary of the game so overall I'd give this game a solid 6.5/10 on the Chimp scale. should check the game out for its price it's not a bad buy.
really strong visuals and sense of atmosphere, this game makes use of rising tension so well. the use of text based communications and limited ui is great, just a really strong experience, super impressed by it!
