amazing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and all for free. def check this out there is so much love and passion behind it, i can not recommend this amazing experience enough

After reading all the positive reviews it felt like I found a hidden gem of sorts, but after getting the "Corporate Ending" and playing for a bit more I feel like I'm missing something? The combat is pretty standard and boring, the missions are also pretty tedious and boring. I feel like there might be some kind of commentary on life with how you can choose to live your life before a calamity and all the different Ninjas but I dunno it just didn't land for me. I will say the music is fantastic though. The composer did a great job.

This was incredible. This game is a very dense little adventure, and I couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to see what's next.

"Beetle Ninja" is a wacky and bizarre RPG where you play 2 weeks of the titular character's B-Tier vigilante life as a ninja until the world is struck by an eldritch cataclysm. The whole ordeal is often far out and feels like a semi open life-sim: Rescue cats, solve petty crimes, get ridiculed by random strangers, meet wacko ninjas like yourself that leech on your money, get wasted, milk almond cows for almond milk (what?) and ultimately resolve your backstory trauma. It also takes a darker turn near the end and has different pathing and endings. Nice. Ultimately it feels like a Power Rangers Episode made by Jim Jarmusch (or not but you get the gist). Mix that with a good soundtrack (loved the banger Highway track) and custom made stylish battle animations and you got yourself a unique experience. That being sad, there are some caveats: the combat is your run of the mill RPGMaker gameplay, the enemies are sometimes a little tanky, the map borders feel a little inconsistent, the recruitment system is a money drain when you just want to chill at the hot springs and there are quite some typos, but nevertheless for the great price of free you should definetly check this little gem out, if you ever liked the weird RPGMaker ones and titles like "Mother" or "LISA". Definetly deserves a broader audience!

Fantastic. 10/10. Loved every bit of it. From the music to the art to the characters to the story, everything was such a joy to go through.

this game is very underated many charecter places and ending for a free game i hope this gets a sequel

Despite its short duration, it seems to be very intricate, I'm not the kind of player that goes out of their way to unlock every single ending or route, but just having played it once, I find it incredibly charming.
