Because I Love Her

You would think that a game with a strong NTR path also has a cheating path but nope, it's literally only faithful or sharing paths. It's a very dull story, a neighbour literally looks at you in an angry way... that's the plot. The models are pretty ugly and something is REALLY wrong with the facial expressions, they just look extremely goofy. Animations are very poorly looped and stiff looking and the whole thing is over within an hour. Some of the choices are just there for show (Example your gf asks if she should go to the park naked, you say no and she does it anyway). If it had a cheating path and had a lot more content I would definitely recommend it, currently it just feels rushed and lacking depth.

Sadly, I really can't recommend this. It's unfortunate, because I feel like AVN had a lot of potential. However, it is very incomplete and hasn't seen an update in a very long time. Without more content, this just isn't a good purchase.

A shame, the game has potential but the MMC is ruining it for me. He is spineless, lazy and selfish. Only played the first two chapters and couldn't take it anymore, got a refund.

I think this might be the first review I’ve ever written and it’s a fairly difficult review for me to write. I read the description of this game before buying it, but I still feel surprised by it. It’s akin to going to a seafood restaurant when you don’t particularly care for seafood. The non-seafood portion of the game (the ‘love’ route) is rather undeveloped currently. I believe the developer has said on Reddit that they intend to develop it further, but as of present it’s fairly short – I’d say the seafood portion (the NTR route) is many times larger. To try and be positive – this game helped me realize some things that I didn’t explicitly know about myself (mainly that I do not care for seafood/NTR.) Likewise, it’s difficult for me to objectively evaluate the NTR portion of the game – it genuinely seems like the developer is a pretty good seafood chef, but I just do not care for seafood. One genuine criticism I have is that, after picking the NTR route, you seem locked into certain choices – there are several dialogue options where it seems like you may have a lesser NTR option (e.g. it turns out the seafood restaurant also has a chicken salad), but surprise! It’s actually a salmon salad (e.g. the bull winds up having his way with your love interest anyways.) On another positive note this game has also helped me realize how many other AVN main characters are just terrible – the girlfriend character in this game acts in a somewhat similar manner (e.g. rules are established and then she just goes and ignores them and then the MC just lets her get away with it.) Which leads me to the MC himself – I haven’t played many AVNs, but this MC in particular I found difficult to relate to. Somehow the mega-charismatic third-legged main characters are more relatable, at least when it comes to their thinking processes. I don’t have a lot of experience with NTR content, but the description of this game mentioned swinging and, seemingly a majority of the time, this didn’t seem to be swinging so much as watching others have their way with your love interest, hearing about how others had their way with your love interest or telling your love interests friends that you’re perfectly fine with them having their way with others. It did not, at all, feel like equal sharing or swinging. It didn’t seem to me like any combination of choices currently present in the NTR route of the game could even lead to any sort of actual swinging/sharing content so much as just cuckoldry. The developer wrote on a Reddit post that it wasn’t humiliating, but honestly, to me, it seems like the MC just isn’t capable of feeling humiliation. Again – I don’t care for NTR, but I also don’t want to seem judgmental of those who do enjoy it. To compare it to seafood I think it’s perfectly fine that others enjoy it (more for them!), but I still have found an instance of it that I enjoy. I’m conflicted in recommending this game or not – there’s certainly potential. The renders and animations are great and I bet if you like NTR/seafood you’ll really enjoy it. That said, the love/non-NTR route is currently underdeveloped and I find the description of the game that mentions cuckolding alongside sharing and swinging to be inaccurate. The non-love path is almost/seemingly exclusively NTR which makes me think that any swinging or sharing options are also underdeveloped. I hope to see the developer continue to mature the game, but I’m going to write this review and hopefully forget about the game for a long while. I hope whenever I do discover it again it’ll have content I can genuinely enjoy. I originally did not recommend this game. I went back to it to try and get all achievements and earned 'Dreams do come true.' This involved a scene which genuinely provoked an emotional and physical response which I don't think I've ever felt before - I was revolted and disgusted by both characters involved. It reminded me a bit of the earlier season of The Office and how Michael Scott could invoke truly terrible cringe. I don't know where the developer is going with this - if these characters are actually supposed to be broken and flawed and if there will be any rewarding resolution to their story. I do think the developer is effective at creating a scene however so if you enjoy this sort of content I suggest you give it a try. To go back to the seafood comparison - this chef can certainly cook, but there's almost nothing on the menu that I'd want to try and some parts of it absolutely disgust me.

I didn't play the NTR version, so my review of the game is limited. But it looks like half of the people that play it get the romantic achievement, so it seems like plenty of people didn't want NTR. Extremely short playtime. Not really worth buying because of that alone. The writing is pretty poor. I don't know if it's because the depth was cut by not playing the NTR route, but everything is really sudden with no build up. It feels like the characters are rushing like a kid that got a new toy, but it's going to be taken away from them tomorrow. It doesn't take much for the characters to jump into something new with no real knowledge of what the hell they're doing, and no real play negotiation. The MC has no personality and just goes with the flow most of the time. He's used as some kind of reference point for "should we do this", but doesn't seem to have his own desires or autonomy.

"Because I Love Her" is one of the S3XIEST NTR/Cuckold Adult Visual Novels (AVN) I've ever played! This isn't that long, but simultaneously, it's not too short either considering the level of corruption and sensual arousal achieved, especially once you've experienced how MUCH corruption the Main Characters achieve in this version of the game! The artwork is VERY GOOD, especially when regarding how erotic the Love Interests are rendered! The developers have set this Adult Visual Novel up for success, and hopefully they'll take advantage of finishing this story line: if they don't there are enough of us monitoring "HOPEFULS" like this release promises to be, and they understand we--as reviewers--can and will always return to our critiques to edit accordingly. Nevertheless, for anyone who is excited by NTR, cuckoldry, and sharing, this is MUST HAVE!! The quality of its script, along with the arousing and erotic s3xy renderings of the models, make this a VERY ENJOYABLE 4 hours of PLAY!!! This AVN comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Absolute trash! Spelling and grammar mistakes everywhere, and right from the start. Artistry/CGI is not the worst I've seen, but not good either. Waste of 2 hrs, with about an hour of it being on pause because I had other stuff to do. But it's still awful. And the NTR crap with my the MC's girl going out to screw other guys was complete bullsh_t! Made this absolutely disgusting because of that. Yeah, you can choose to not see it. But it shouldn't be there in the first place! Smack the Devs in the head! Dumbaszes!

I would give it a 8/10. It has some good cuckolding scenarios for sure. I liked the characters and the dynamic between them, but the story was very basic. The story was not that good, I mean it goes straight to the sexual scenarios and scenes. Overall, good scenarios, scenes, and characters, but the story is simple.
