Beat Blitz

A single-button rhythm game with great beats. There aren’t that many songs and you can finish the game in one sitting. A song takes around a minute and has four checkpoints so you don’t have to restart the song after each death. Each quarter of a song is different and follows a pattern. This means the beats don’t show up at random to try to surprise you. The difficulty curve and progress is very nice. A nice touch is that you can see things like speed and chaos for individual song. Each new song throws a new curve ball at you such as launch pads that make your ball roll on the ceiling or rails that take control of the ball for a second. It sounds more complicated than it is; they’re more of a distraction. Simply follow the beat and you’ll be alright. By collecting beats and finishing songs, you unlock the next song and skins. Some of the skins change how the game works. You have one that gives you the old-school look or another changes beats into stars. Achievements are earned for completing each song without a single death. Except for some tricky quarters, particularly in the last couple of songs, I never struggled too much and got the achievement after a few tries. There is one big bug connected to achievements: when you unlock the final skin that flips the screen upside down, you need to beat all tracks again. However, all achievements unlocked at the same time once I finished the tutorial.

good game but needs more levels or a level editor

Fun game, a lot like Geometry Dash. But, just like Geometry Dash, this is NOT a rhythm game. A fun game though? Definitely. Thumbs up from me.

The music is good, controls is just space bar or left click for jump. The levels get progressively harder as you go which is awesome, but there are only 12. honestly not bad for under 4 dollars. definitely would like to see more levels and music in the future. and more skins too.

Beat Blitz feels heavily inspired by The Impossible Game, but with a musical twist to it. As you go along you have to collect notes (in the form of different shapes) to add to the music, and the layout of the levels and positions of said notes are synced to the music too. It is a short game, I finished it in approximately 2 and a half hours, although at least 1 hour of that was from being stuck in hell... I mean on the last level. Apex is a horrible one, feels a bit out of sync with the music and a bit at the beginning (3 jumps that don't feel in-time at all), but also a fun one due to the challenge of it. Apex does feel like a MASSIVE leap in difficulty to the previous level, as the previous ones all felt like the difficulty went up a notch each time and felt right. Some of the music is awesome, some of the visuals are awesome (although I wish it was possible to turn the effects off as those do make things insanely hard at times like a false difficulty added). Some nice visual touches too like your Avatar changes the visual style of the level which was a really neat idea! Overall for a couple of quid (I received my key for free, although I did also buy a copy for a friend) I definitely recommend Beat Blitz. It has replayability to it if you want to get an S on all the levels. Worth checking out :)

10/10 Muy bueno, si te gustan los juegos de ritmo sin duda Beat Blitz es el indicado para disfrutar de buenas canciones junto a jugabilidad increíble, espero más niveles, sin embargo con lo que he disfrutado del juego me encuentro satisfecho! :D
