About

Beasts of Bermuda is a multiplayer survival game in which the player is a dinosaur or other prehistoric creature. A player can take the role of flyers, swimmers, herbivores, carnivores, and semi-aquatic creatures that fulfill different niches in the ecosystem. No matter what the player chooses to be, the objective of the game is to survive and grow up on the islands of Bermuda by using their particular creature's abilities. Predation from other players as well as intense environmental events are the antagonistic forces in the game the player must survive against.
There are currently three game modes in Beasts of Bermuda.

In Free Roam game mode the player selects a creature of choice and spawns into the world as a juvenile of that species. They must survive and gradually grow larger over time. As growth accumulates, they also earn talents, which can be spent to enhance different aspects of your creature's capabilities. In this mode growth is slower but resource management is easier.
In Life Cycle game mode the player selects a creature and spawns into the world as a juvenile of that species. You must survive and grow larger in a fast paced growth setting. As growth accumulates, you will earn talents to enhance different aspects of your creature's capabilities. After 1.32 growth you can choose to enter a stage called Gauntlet, where the difficulty of the game increases with growth in the form of food, water, and ailment management. In this mode growth is faster but resource management is harder. Compete on a monthly leaderboard to earn the top growth ranking for your species!
In Combat game mode players are pitted against one another with mechanics that are designed to reward conflict. Servers can use Deathmatch Maps which are smaller with close together spawn locations. The player spawns in as an adult creature of their choice and can accrue more talent points by killing other players and stealing their points. The game mode is endless and uses points and kill/death ratios to show who reigns supreme on the server.

This game is absolutely buns and honestly quite horrible, it can be fun sometimes but lowkey the game be getting ruined over and over again... Why we nerfing things that are bad and buffing things that don't need it or buffing what we aint wanting to be buffed fr.... BUT if you do play you should not play new servers cause then you'll find out they're super toxic and everyone will leave it and you will waste your time a hundred times over
I thought in this game I would be surviving as a dinosaur, not catching bugs

I bought this game around when it first released because it had a lot of promise. Unfortunately it's been years now and I can't recommend it. The visuals have hardly changed and just look very bad, especially when the environment is reminiscent of PS2 style graphics. Which I could get over if everything else matched the style, however they've gone for ultra realistic models that while they look great on their own, feel incredibly out of place against the low quality environment and lighting. Many of the animations are quite bad as well and just make the dinosaurs, especially the larger ones, look goofy. Don't get me started on the dinosaur balancing. There's no player-on-player collision in the game, so a single velociraptor can just stand under a massive Rex or Acro and maul it to death and there's almost nothing you can do about it. Even worse are Pteranodons (flyers). Even if you're playing a MUCH bigger dino they can just dive bomb you over and over and kill you, and it's incredibly hard to hit them out of the sky due to their small size and the desync issues. Even if you do manage to kill one, they grow so fast they'll be back in the sky flying around in no time to find and terrorize you some more. If you see a pteranodon all you can do is hide under some cover and wait until they get bored or find a different target. Just hope you don't starve out before they get bored. I've seen entire packs of dinosaurs huddling together under a small cave because there's a pteranodon flying overhead. How is this any fun? The worst part about this is that devs have stated this is how they want the game to be. They want a tiny raptor to be able to murder a giant T. Rex. I will give the dev team their props though. They're very good at implementing fun mechanics that other devs of dino games have either failed to do or have said would be too difficult to do. For example you can play a giant snake (Palaeophis) in the game, and the movement and animations for the snake are actually very well done! They have tornados, fires, lightning, and floods that can all affect your dino and influence how players move around the map. They have a skill tree so you can experiment with different dino builds and find the optimal ones to use for your playstyle. Unfortunately these aspects of the game just don't make up for the intentionally terrible balancing and mismatched, low quality style of the game. I do hope one day the devs will listen to feedback from the playerbase and implement much needed changes, but it doesn't seem likely.
Bob is incredibly fun and has so much wonderful potential. however, it is um. barely playable at the moment, with community servers lagging horrifically. The developer is incredibly biased with his nerfs, for instance, utahraptor was nerfed into the ground just recently to the point it is barely playable. and don't even get me started about how you can get a bitter laugh out of any server members just by mentioning the word "peru". I hope that this comment brings awareness to the state of the game. its fun but when its this laggy and broken, its just not playable.
♥♥♥♥ game dev doesnt care about the actual gameplay he just adds stuff so more people will buy it then gives up again hitboxs are ♥♥♥♥ hackers are everywhere and balancing is non existent do not recomend at all to anyone
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU KNOW SOMEONE ON THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM. If you dont have inside connections you will be used as fodder to let the admins and friends gang up and bully you the rules only apply to the people who dont know admins. Believe me I have over 200 hours in this game I have tried but all of the "Rules" they have are for us lowlifes not for the admins and players. After getting cross packed for hundreds of hours of my playtime this game isn't a dinosaur sim this is a soviet russia sim where most of us get to run around as the poor people barely scraping buy for the admins and friends to exploit for their greed. Dont think that unofficial servers are better because they are the exact same just without control over the product.
Pred has a fragile ego, so instead of fixing the game, he breaks it for everyone.
I wasted so much of my time and money on this game and I regret it :)
dont download this game, ♥♥♥♥ admins, owner, game, mechanics, hackers left n right, they just deleted so many players bio that they have grinded for, ♥♥♥♥ graphics, great concept tho but poorly and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ managed by ♥♥♥♥♥♥ people, money hungry ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, nerf all creatures to the ground, all the servers are horded by clans and target everyone else for the power grab. hackers dont get banned, they dont do anything about the hackers they dont even hardware ban them. the hackers mock this game and the owner. Predator suits his name as he preys on your money and no real content to the game
Exploiters galore, and the devs do not care. Do not waste your time.
