Very Fun Game. I like the theme and story premise with the Teddy Bear's Toyshop Fight Club underground battle arena fighting for shelf space. Here's my Let's Play video coverage: https://youtu.be/h0ghv-cVWSo
A cute little teddy bear ripping apart other teddy bears is one heck of a collaboration between Winnie The Pooh and Fight Club. The combat design is addictive and similar to Balatro with a clever inventory management system and a surprising fun math brings to the table... who would have guessed. Highly recommended to any deckbuilding fan! My short video review can be seen right here: https://youtu.be/KlnLBFMg6Y0
This game is peak!
Very cool
I've tried a lot of deckbuilding roguelikes trying to scratch the StS itch and most don't keep my attention. This very much does and has the sauce. While it's not as good as StS, I suddenly lost hours after starting my first run because I was immediately hooked. The story and setting are unique and weird. And the gameplay is simple but strategic. You very quickly learn how to build high damage dopamine releasing combos. I really only have a few negatives. The first is that there is a meta, getting the highest damage output in the least amount of turns. There lacks enough variety in your options and modifiers to really do anything else. As well as there isn't really much variety in how the enemies fight. It essentially does come down to numbers. And I loved what we get for the story, setting, and cutscenes but I wish there was more. Overall I highly suggest it and hope it does well enough to warrant a bigger sequel.
The game is quite hard to figure out at first, but once you read and understand the mechanics, it's pretty easy to master.
This is actually such a fun game. I could play for hours bro. Only problem is I suck lowkey can't get past Benard he's to OP.
I really like the art style and plushie theme, and the sticker/brand mechanic is quite fun. I've enjoyed the game so far. My biggest complaint is that the starter deck gets repetitive fast, I see the same stuff every run, and unlocking new characters is too slow. The other issue I have is that I couldn't get the control to work on Steam Deck.
