I don’t usually play puzzle games, but this one caught my attention. The art style was unique and beautiful. It reminded me of a canvas. So, if you are up for a challenge and love puzzles, why are you hesitating? It’s reasonably priced, has space, robots and time-travel…really what more could you ask for? 10/10 - Loved it
Herkese tavsiye ederim.
This is a very relaxing and calm puzzle game that you can possibly sink a good few hours into, The game is made by one developer which is super impressive and helps with how immersive it is. Considering how cheap this game is I would recommend buying it, wish it was a bit longer that's how immersed I managed to get!
I bought this game because it was on sale and the art style caught my eye. The game has great sound design, the noise whenever you leave a room or time loop is great. The background music is good. The unique art style is both interesting to look at and surprisingly clear. The game is also quick and easy as it takes around three hours for a session.
I found it truly impressive that this game was created by a single developer because the amount of care and attention to detail poured into it is evident. Therefore, I believe the following aspects of the game are worth mentioning: Regarding the artistic direction, its art style stands out, giving the entire experience an innovative and unique visual identity; each scene looks like a hand-painted abstract artwork made with bold brushstrokes. Moreover, the soundtrack enhances the atmosphere in crucial moments and draws you deeper into the story. In terms of gameplay, the puzzles are not only fun and well-designed, but they also align perfectly with the game’s theme: communication. Without revealing too much, the main objective of the game is to learn how to communicate, which really gave me Chants of Sennaar vibes. As a result, the more puzzles you solve, the more you'll uncover about the characters' pasts and piece together the full story. On top of that, the game features multiple endings, which encourages replayability. As for the character design, the cast is very well crafted and full of charisma. Continuing with the theme of communication, each one has very distinctive speech patterns: some of them have their own catchphrases or show frequent pauses when speaking to reflect their doubts and worries, while others use a more casual and laid-back tone or even communicate in an overly formal manner. This way, each character feels unique and their words perfectly reflect their personality. Considering its price, this game is an absolute gem. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a creative, intriguing and original experience.
Bay Bell is a delightfully weird little puzzle game/VN crossover. I bought it on a whim because the art looked kinda neat and I like space games, and it was more fun than I hoped. The game has a single puzzle mechanic that plays out something like the pen-and-paper game Hangman. As you decipher certain puzzles, more text elsewhere becomes readable, and then you can play through the rest of the game like a VN. Without spoiling the story - you are a robot in space, and the theme is languages and communication, which is a very clever way to support the jankiness of the script that eventually gets uncovered. The issue with the writing is that it is spectacularly florid, unnecessarily verbose to the Nth degree. But because of the setup of the game, you can almost forgive that as being part of the lore. In any case, purple prose aside, the combination of space game, casual puzzle solving and generally nice/friendly characters is exactly my kind of thing, so the game was well worth it. I can only hope more people discover it and that the developer continues making games. There's not much else out there like this.
