Doesn't run. Crashes constantly at "press start" screen and I can't figure out why and no troubleshoots seem to work.
changing my vpn, failed. I had to spend 30$ for a guy to use his card to buy me this game through gamestop (in US only) since it was permanently deleted from steam store forever, only physical/digital codes left for us to buy and the price went through the roof by a 6 fold. Best naval game btw
Multiplayer Works Great, Game runs like it used to. Get it off of humble bundle, and get the windows live update exe. Worth it.

Still works on Windows 11
I review games and DLC based on whether the overall experience is worth your time and money. Is the game good? Yes Is the game worth it at full price? Yes Is it worth finding a key online to play this game? Yes, but be warned of technical issues Battlestations: Pacific is one of the best naval warfare games ever made, and there are very few games like it, especially with multiplayer. The multiplayer still works too, so if you can get into the game, there is still a community around it. What makes it so special is that it works as both a strategy game and an action game, letting you command the battle while also personally taking control of ships and planes. I put hundreds of hours into this on Xbox back in the day, and it remains one of my favorite naval combat experiences. As of 2026, the game is still no longer available to purchase normally on PC. There are still keys available on other websites such as Humble Bundle, which is the cheapest and safest website. There is also another major issue after purchasing it. Because the game is so outdated, it relies on old Windows systems that no longer work properly, meaning the game may not run unless you follow installation guides. It took me a while to get it working, and not every computer will be able to run it successfully. Only buy this if you are willing to work through the guides and understand that getting it running may take some effort. Even with the hassle of buying it and getting it running, I still think the effort is worth it. Battlestations: Pacific is a beautiful game, and I genuinely hope it gets revived one day. R.U.S.E. was brought back recently, so maybe there is still hope for this title too.
great game loved this game unfortunately you can have it in your library but you cant play it but you can think about playing it and reliving the days of 2013 when windows 7 was still around if you do have windows 7 you can play this game there are also ways around the problem but im lazy
Relaxante.
So I got this game from a steam key. After you follow some guides it works perfectly on a 3k wide monitor. It is is just as great as when it launched. It is one of the Best naval and air combat games ever made. Get it if you can. You will not regret it.
¡buen juego! complejo y muy completo al que hay que dedicarle tiempo; un poco dificil adaptarse a los controles, pero merece la pena. los que comentan que "no les arranca el juego", es porque necesitan tener instalado "games for windows live".
Rip loved this game on the xbox 360 just to find its completely unplayable on steam now. Sad but the memories will live on.
