We'd do anything for our family." This game is peak. I played this game back in 2016 when I first got my Playstation 4 on my birthday. I remember playing it and felt like I was The Dark Knight himself. When I first started playing The Arkham Franchise, I played Arkham Asylum back around mid 2012. That was about a month after I moved In to my foster family that took care of me, and raised me well to who I am today. I remember shortly after the hundreds hours playing Batman Arkham Asylum, they announced the official trailer for Batman Arkham City.. And I was so hyped to get the game once it released. It was during christmas in 2013 Is when I finally got the game, and It was one heck of a gameplay rework! The story was even higher stakes during that time, and It was only until around mid to late 2013 I think? It was when they announced Batman Arkham Knight, and I saw the E3 Trailer of It, and was surprised with the sudden reveal of Scarecrow coming back, and with such a menacing return that gave me goosebumps.. I was hyped to one day get the PS4. Although, I had to wait until 2016, and when I finally got the PS4 Including Batman Arkham Knight, I locked TF IN, and felt really excited to finally play it. For the thousands of overall hours of me playing the game of it's entirety several times, I feel, even to this day, that I'm never going to get bored out of It. The Arkham Community Is fun, meme's are still being made about the games, and I'm still having a blast gaming this game.. Now that I can finally play this game on a proper gaming laptop, I can finally enjoy the full experience of what this game has to offer.. For people who always wanted to play this game, I HIGHLY Recommend. The overall reward and best way to experience playing this game, is if you played the previous games before this. Start with Batman Arkham Asylum, then Arkham City, and Arkham Origins. Don't bother with the chronological order found online. (Don't exile me Arkham Community, I'm just suggesting the best experience..) Anyways, If anyone wants to play this game and get the most out of the franchise, starting from the beginning of the Arkham Series feels WAYY More rewarding once you get this game to try it out for yourself. Batman Arkham Knight is technically the final chapter of the Arkham Series. So If you're planning to play this game first, you got to at least try out the beginning to get the rewarding feeling that I got when I first started playing to where I felt when I finally caught up to Batman Arkham Knight. Besides.. This Batman (Besides Arkham Origins), Is voiced by Kevin Conroy (The same guy who voiced my childhood from the hit DC Comic Show "Batman The Animated Series" And so many more after, like the Arkham Series.) Since he unfortunately passed around late 2022, the arkham games was a part of his legacy to voicing the heart and soul of the caped crusader and bringing life to his character. Batman Arkham Knight felt like his way of saying goodbye, even though this game released over 12 years ago. As I said, I HIGHLY Recommend you start from the beginning, and get a real FEEL Towards the gameplay, the story, and the engaging combat mechanics from where It all started, to where It left off In Batman Arkham Knight, because this game felt like a reward and overall a reminder to what modern games can achieve If they allow full collaboration and have a good team to develop It. (I'm not gonna name other games like this, but you know what I mean.) To conclude this review, I hope that anyone who sees all of this can understand just how much I value this game and the others before this.
