fun and strategic puzzle :D
edit: flipped it to a thumbs down because there's no undo. bascatball jupiter is the almost identical follow-up to bascatball mars, except with only 30 levels instead of 50 for the same price. my review will be largely identical as well, since it's still turn-based basketball where the ball is a cat and the court is a hex-based location somewhere on jupiter. the goal once again is for the cat to end up inside the hoop by finding the correct path on every level, unlocked one after the other. the team consists of 4 players (and their numerous clones). the first can move as many tiles one by one as the movement counter on the scoreboard allows, plus pass or throw. the second guy is stationary and can only pass or throw. the third one always has 3 moves, then passes or throws. the last one is a loose cannon, moves around on its own after every turn and can only be controlled when he has the catball. both passing and scoring have to happen with exactly one tile (or gap) between the player and the hoop and the two players respectively, and all moves have to be used up before a pass and all passes dealt with before going for the money shot. the scoreboard shows available moves for the current player and all passes for the level. can't pass back and forth between the same guys, so if there are 6 passes and 7 players on the level, everybody has to be involved, and you normally can't step on a hex that's already been used. the new mechanic of disappearing and re-appearing tiles clears hexes, so they can be used again, but it also leads to a lot more trial and error because they all look the same, yet don't disappear at the same time and there is still no undo to ease up on repeating the same moves. teleporters can be used over and over again and sometimes the basket has to be revealed first by pressing a button. and finally, there are new cat players stealing balls. they don't move, so you only have to make sure they aren't standing between you and the other player before a pass. controls are very simple, all you need is the left mouse button to move around, then click other players or the hoop to get rid of the ball. this is paired with great graphics and music, separate volume settings (though they still aren't saved between sessions), next/previous music track, windowed mode (still an unresizable window, so it's still useless) and a level selection screen. no way to turn off the timer on the scoreboard, which doesn't do anything, but it's always my preference to get rid of it and I couldn't do it here. this time the dev went crazy with the achievements. one for unlocking a level, one for solving it, always a sign of cheapness, but it's still a fun little puzzler with less content than the original for the same price, and without undo it can't be recommended.
Nice relaxing puzzle that make you think before making a move!
what you waiting for bro just buy it, i literally started playing now and already know it's def worth the price; you dont even have to wait for the sales also the music is wonderful 😔

A puzzle game with a concept like this is really nice, but in my opinion the visual aspect is not all there. However, my biggest problem is the playability: anytime I close the game, I get a black screen when I finish the level. The only way to solve this is to start from Level 1 and work your way all the way up again. The level difficulties are all-over-the-place. It wasn't a particularly fun playthrough.
A very nice puzzle game. Would recommend it.
I really enjoyed this game, it is fun, very beautiful and full of cats. it's impossible not to love a game like this!
I liked the game, it evolved significantly from the first, which was a great game too. The art of the game has improved a lot, it has become much more enjoyable. The addition of space to the bottom, and dust particles in the air made the game more immersive. They added new songs too, which I really liked. The new mechanics like the button to activate the basket, the floor that disappears and the enemy that steals the ball gave the game a very good difficulty, making you think in different ways to solve the puzzles. Overall, the game has evolved enormously, and I recommend a lot to everyone, great for spending ti
An awesome game, I had a relaxing and fun time while playing.
