Take down hordes of outlaws to get to their leaders. Collect bullets with special effects, trinkets and resources. Each of your bullets has its archetype (Damage, Shield, Initiative, Focus and Killer). It's up to you to customize your ideal barrel et create powerful synergies to counter your enemies !

Face groups of 3 to 5 bandits in turn based combats. After each of your shots, choose your next bullet between the 3 next and come up with mind blowing combos ! (Literally...)

Choose your next destination carefully to gain options for your next fights !
Some resources you’ll find on the road could be super useful at the saloon.

Cool concept, although apparently unoriginal - a game called forty five did the same thing a couple years ago. It is unfortunately lacking in any kind of real depth or replayability after an initial run, so with that, as well as visual bugs like blocking enemy stats and regular crashes, I can not recommend it
Great game, combines all my favorite themes
It's way more style over substance, its a really good style but tehre isn't really a lot there and that was clear after a single run. It is fun, it does look and sound amazing and it is only 5$. you pick a target shoot them, pick new bullets and buy some upgrdaes. you have a few skills, and can pretty easily build to make those skills one shot enemies, in one run i had 2 bullets aht incombination with skills could one shot 90% of the foes i met. The biggest issue i had is i had to click on everything 2-4 times which was very annyoing. there also doesnt apper to be any end goal, just do a run until you die. It's really hard to say its bad or to not give it the thumbs up with it's price tag so I won't but there's really not a lot here.
This was fun. I love the theme of gun fighting robots that use special bullets. The artwork was also great.
A simple, turn-based game with many good qualities, like its interesting robo-western concept and unique gameplay. However, a lot of small issues add up to take the fun away pretty quickly at higher difficulties (Threat 3+), which diminishes it's replay-ability as a rogue-like. The accumulation of currency and items is very slow and oddly paced, so it makes building a set of items/bullets that compliment each other very difficult. There's no option to sell or trade bullets and items. Cost of bullets and items increase throughout each run. You have to complete the boss fight side objectives in order to get items early on because it takes so long to acquire currency; some items are frankly trash and it doesn't specify what item you're going to get if you complete the boss fight side objective, which makes it a huge risk to attempt completing because you will always incur more damage (it's expensive to heal!). Only one item can be bought from the in-mission shops, even if you're lucky enough to have accumulated currency to afford multiple; this is especially annoying late-game when you finally have some currency built up on a lucky run. The boss fight side objectives are practically impossible at threat level 3 and higher for most bosses. In my opinion, you should just get an item for beating the boss in addition to the boss bullet and completing the side objective should give a bonus item (or bullet upgrade). Also, if paying to heal was removed and you just healed up after mission, it would alleviate some of the currency accumulation issue. I want to 100% the game but honestly it's just miserable at Threat 4 because it's so rare to get good bullet combinations and items are extremely difficult to get. Pro Tip: At Threat 4+ you're going to need the Execution Bullet (purple: double damage on no shield enemies; upgraded is instant kill on no shield) and the Shield Slayer Bullet (blue: next bullet destroys shields). You might as well restart the run if you dont have a purple or blue bullet starting reward. If you dont get either of those 2 bullets from the first mission reward and they're not in the first shop menu, then just restart until you get one. I've played about 10 hours in Threat 5 and still haven't beat it because the scaling is awful. I've made it to the 4th boss multiple times but have only been lucky enough to get the Execution and Shieldslayer bullet combo once (I accidentally reloaded and ruined the run).
Really good game with solid "barrelbuilding" roguelike mechanics. This game balances ample challenge with fast QTE mechanics to overcome those challenges and come out on top. I just finished my second run, and when in a boss fight on 1HP, I saved the run with one of the QTE special focus skills! This is a really fun game. I am looking forward to any future updates to this game and hope that the dev would be open to the modding community to add a cherry on top- because this game already has the icing! Cheers to the Dev team!

This feels like a small passion project on a tight budget, but the idea and the execution are great, and the art style supplements the atmosphere really well. I wish writing was a bit better, but can't really complain - it's fun to play, especially for the price. I wish the team luck with future games, and hope they add more content to this one.
I saw this game appear randomly on my YT homepage in a vid with like 100 views. The aesthetic is what drew me in, but the gameplay is what made me buy the game. (I love robots, androids, and cyborgs a lot, so the fact that you play in a world filled with them is awesome) I checked the credits in-game and saw that this is a game made by students, which I think is cool as hell! The bullet synergies work really well, the combat feels challenging and the focus actions aren't too weak nor broken. If there's one point of critique I'd had to give, it's that a lot of the animations for player actions and enemy actions are quite slow. If you ever added the option in the game settings to speed up animations with a slider, I'd highly appreciate it! Good luck to all the devs with their studies and I'll be putting more hours into Barrel Roll, for sure! <3
Awesome game, needs some more replayability
