The BGA implementation is superior in many ways. Two simple examples where this version could learn from BGA: can't see the conduit power output at a glance (you have to hover on each to see it) and you can't see how many water drops will come out of the top for all 4 rounds at a glance either. The game is about strategizing ahead, and not making that information readily available creates pain points that make me enjoy the BGA version more.

It not only keeps the experience fresh but, along with the faster gameplay, significantly boosts the replayability of an already great worker placement game. Points for Improvement AI/Bots: While I appreciate that the bot opponents are visibly improving with updates, there is still room for further refinement to make the single-player experience consistently challenging and tactical. Expansion Content: My main wish is to see the entire expansion catalogue brought to the Steam version soon. More maps and elements will only cement this as the definitive way to play. Verdict If you love the challenging, cutthroat resource management of Barrage, the Steam version is an excellent purchase. The convenience of the automation and the faster pace provided by the DLC make it my go-to choice for playing this heavy Eurogame. Highly recommended for any strategy fan!

Bugs even when trying to start a new game Contract didn't fulfill correctly after power generation. Needs more work, might revisit in the future if they work on it only because I love the board game. Refund requested.

Barrage is a brilliant board game, and this is a really great digital adaptation. I've only played against bots, so haven't tried the multiplayer. The medium bots present a solid challenge, and it's a great way to practice this mind-bending game. Looking forward to the upcoming new content and hopefully more bot options!

I don’t understand why players can’t see which technology tiles are in play, or which technology tiles and external contract tiles have been removed, during the turn order selection phase. On BGA, this information is visible. I would appreciate a response regarding this. Also, I look forward to expansions featuring the Colorado map and the Brazil and Japan nations.

Very good game - complex with a steep learning curve, before you can get good at it. The tutorial could use some work - but definitely worth the investment of time to explore this near-masterpiece.

Great experience getting to play it with bots, which is letting me test out strategies for when I play against friends. Looking forward to expansions and maybe difficulty?
