loved the dodging and counter mechanics, made for some really interesting fights. The dialogue throughout also kept things interesting lol. Definitely made me rethink my future as a bean-bag sales person.

This is an excellently told story, especially knowing that this was created by an indie team comprising of 2 people! The fighting mechanics are both simple and intricate as you can win a fight with each opponent using a variety of tactics. I loved the subtle storytelling and the progression of Gunner’s character throughout my 4 hour play session of the main story. I was able to obtain 11/12 achievements on my initial play-through, but I look forward to going back in and challenging myself to S-rank all the fights in the game soon! If you are a fan of the Punch-Out series with a little more story telling around self-improvement and happiness, then this is the title is for you! Plus, you make money in fun part-time job mini-games to fix up your apartment and your life. Nothing better than the sounds of manly men slapping meat on meat in a bare knuckle fight. Highly recommend.

I beat the game in 2.5 hours, though if i didn't struggle to find a source of water in my ever not so simple house it probably would have been 2 hours but regardless of how short the game is it's a lot of fun and is worth the play. Raised by screens, I am now a patron.

i enjoyed the vibe

Don't let the replayability of the fights shadow the well thought out story that drives the game! Gunner is a very interesting character and easy to feel for him in his journey through the underground fight ring of Bare Knuckle Sandwich. On top of the fun and challenging fights, the music and art is a 10/10. Very easy on the eyes. Hilarious pop culture tie ins flood the streets and really show how much time and effort went into every inch of writing and designing the game

The world sucks but this game doesn't
