About
Barbecue is a co-op party game for 1 to 4 players.
Your mission is simple: host a barbecue in your backyard. Reality will be quite different.
Light the fire, grill the meat, serve your guests and earn money to upgrade your setup.
Everything starts peacefully. It only takes a few minutes for things to spiral out of control. The fire rages, smoke fills the yard, and someone is already sprinting toward the shop in a panic.
Wood, charcoal, gasoline — each fuel has its perks and its risks.
Too much wood? Wildfire.
Too much charcoal? Toxic smoke.
A splash of gasoline to speed things up? ...Hope your insurance is up to date.
Grill sausages, merguez and steaks to earn money.
Invest in better equipment or blow it all on completely useless items.
No judgment.
The shop is on the other side. The problem? The road. Traffic doesn't stop for you.
Run, dodge, pray.
A day/night cycle changes the rules.
At night, you're grilling in the dark, the road becomes a nightmare, and the guests aren't any more patient.
Buy some lamps. Or don't.
Drink beers — your controls won't thank you.
Hose down your friends mid-cook with the garden hose.
Friend down? Revive them by shoving a sausage in their mouth.
No unfair game over.
The goal? Keep the party going as long as possible.
The shop catalogue is packed with items to unlock, making every session different. And when everything burns down? It's not a failure. It's the best part of the night.
Barbecue — The only game where burning the house down is the highlight of the evening.

Grilled fat slabs of meat with my friends, lit each other and customers on fire 12/10
Love games that can make me laugh and can drag my friends into with me. This game hit that spot. That said my one complaint I did not like about this game. I got knocked into a out of bounds area (the house across the street next to the store) I had no way of getting out. Friends tried hitting me with stuff to push me out. Didn't work. There is no jump button. there is also no reset button. So with as far as we got we had to start a WHOLE new game. As even logging out and logging back in would not reset my character. I feel a unstuck button could be useful or make it so even being hit by a car it can't launch you into the out of bounds area. Once I was out of bounds being I was hosting everything else stopped working in the game. I hope to see a fix of this glitch in the near future. For now with that glitch I would rate the game a 3/5 as having to start over is a real bummer. They fix it I would knock my score up.
Fun game and idea. This game has potential and needs some updates. I haven’t gotten any bugs or issues. After the short tutorial the game kinda leaves you guessing and trying to figure things out on your own.
Look at the price tag. Its not a deep game, but for what it is its really fun. If you want a few nights of laughing with your friends till ur stomach hurts, this is that game.
cheap fun friend slop. more mechanics and meat than you'd probably expect for the price. biggest bugs were items disappearing randomly or falling through the ground, and some physics desync. nothing that stopped our fun though. just needs a little polishing.
a really fun game :D with chaos, but bit tricky in the begining. Would be nice if you guys could make it so you can for instance Move the red bbq Move the pool and so on, there are som items that would be nice to be able to move! but all in all a fun game :D i recommend!
Multiplayer doesnt work. (Update: so that is a Linux to window issue). The price for the game is very reasonable. I did play solo for a bit. I could see how the game could be fun and chaos with friends for sure. One big kudos is to the developer. They responded in a professions manner and heard out the complaint with good response. With that I am recommending this game if you want to have fun with your friends and chill with chaos.
tinha tempo que um jogo nao me prendia assim, REALMENTE MUITO BOM, mesmo saindo da demo hoje, e com alguns bugs, que sao normais para um recente lançamento de jogo, o jogo é otimo para dar boas risadas com os amigos.
