A strange story told through an older classic look and feel. The story focuses on Watracio Walpurgis as he struggles to find a way out of the strange town of Flamingo Creek he has been stranded in after a car crash. It's a peculiar and unpredictable experience with plenty of charm and much to like after the couple hours it takes to finish this first chapter of the story. From the moment the intro to the game starts to play once you start up a new save file, you know this will be an odd and interesting adventure. I can't wait to get my hands on chapter 2 as soon as it releases to see how the story continues! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an original and different story experience that is more about the story and less about complex gameplay. The puzzles are a means to an end and there are plenty of questions you'll have by the end which will be great story threads to continue going forward.
So tedious it hurts. Some 8-bit retro games can be fun. Some quirky games can be fun. This is 8-bit retro and quirky, but not fun. Stay away.

To be frank, this game is more a walking simulator than anything else. The puzzles are trivial at best and annoying at worst, the controls and movement has the horrible on-ice-feeling and the writing is quite possibly the worst I've ever witnessed in a game. You might be like me, see this game on sale for under a Euro and think "huh, might be some cool weird point&click game that is too niche to be widely appraised, let's try it" - don't. Nothing in this game sans the unique and sometimes even charming graphic style and music is worth spending your money and time on. The texts read like a 6 year olds writing, truly nothing makes any sense (and not in a charming, mysterious way), the "gameplay" is worse than a 90s flash game. The only somewhat redeeming thing is that is uniquely weird, but even that is neither very creative nor interesting in any way. tl;dr: The game doesn't instill nostalgia, the gameplay is tedious at best and forgettable most of the time, the writing is abysmal and could've been done by a 6 year old and you wouldn't notice a change. Baffling how a guy could draw all the art for it and go through the trouble of recreating that VHS tape atmosphere just to publish this... nongame.
I wanted to enjoy this game for its Twin Peaks-style quirkiness, but instead I was treated to the most boring 30min of intro gameplay since the time I played Golden Nugget on PS1 as a child. The gameplay appears to be built around fetch quests with nothing fun during or inbetween. Clickspamming is what you end up doing to find who you need to talk to next and while the environments and the character design are interesting, that's about it. It isn't necessarily the clunky translation of from Spanish to English that makes the script less enjoyable. Rather, it's the jokes themselves that aren't very funny. Perhaps it's a difference in culture, but if someone asked me for a comedy-centric game to play, I'd point them to Jazzpunk instead.
they spelt damn as damm......it could easily be a charming game but the writing is so horrible and boring and the edits at the important bits are just plain bad. should be freeware.....this isnt worth paying for in this state. fix it, u did all this great art but its being ruined by such easily fixable things.
This is a pretty good RPG Maker Adventure. Most of the focus is on talking to people and light inventory puzzles. It's very stylish, with a kind of spooky 1960s Halloween vibe, and the humor is quite good. Despite its short length, there's quite a bit of variety in gameplay; the first-person section has its problems, but the Action-Adventure dungeon at the end has surprisingly good controls, considering the engine. Definitely give this a try, if you don't mind unresolved plots. Yes, the saga is complete, but the other episodes aren't something I can recommend. See their pages for their respective reviews.
