Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 6.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Вроде игра сама по себе ничего, но напихали повесточки во все щели. Это убивает погружение в игровую вселенную
Overall (7/10): Great game, not exceptional, but I consider it a money and time (70h) well spent. Gameplay (5/10): Not great, not terrible. Not enough wiggleroom to experiment with builds, a lot of the mechanics are confusing (no idea what affects the damage the enemies receive). The enemy variety is good enough, the combat is good enough. There are no truly annoying things about it, but it does get kinda samey pretty fast. Still, after 70h I still didn't consider it boring. Story (7/10) and Lore (8/10): The story is great, but its true potential lies in the lore. One without the other in this case is pointless. You start with nothing, you don't know what you should care about, but slowly (and I mean very slowly) you start getting the picture of what is going on and why and who and so on. In the end you have a clear picture of the whole thing and it is very satisfying. Characters/attachment (8/10): With 70h to complete all quests and exploration, you get attached to it. The whole thing is sprinkled with dialogues and banter, so the characters get built really well. Atmosphere/music/graphiics (7/10): It is really good, but not exceptional. Works great with the rest of the game, while the game lasts, but I don't think it will stick with me for too long. Final thoughts: I see potential for a replay. The decisions you get to make, there is a clear distinction with 2 or 3 paths, I can imagine that they will affect quite a bit of stuff. The story is linear but a lot of details will change depending on the choices. Will I replay it?Not likely. 70h is a lot of time, better spent exploring new things. Recommendation: If you want more of something like Banishers - try Hell is Us. Another lore-heavy game with much darker and deeper atmosphere, greater stakes and similar level of gameplay. (sure, the setting is way different, but I got a lot of similar feelings playing this).

The game is sufficiently polished, the settings is really interesting. I kinda liked the UX, but often times the UX looked like it was designed for a much more complicated game and then it was dumbed down. The UI was mostly great, but there are parts taht don't fit the genre. The game is extremely long and tedious. The story didn't work for me. I felt like for a game with choices the game tells you quite often what is right and what is wrong. And then there is the gameplay. It's Souls like lite and after ten hours it becomes incerdibly boring and just a chore. There are like 10 types of enemies and 3 bosses. If the game was 60% shorter it would have been fine. I'm 36 hours in and about 70% finished with the game. I am really struggling to continue for how repetitive it is.
A very good game hidden inside a mediocre one. The game would have been significantly better half it's length.
In short: "As good as Expedition 33". It's a massive lift for a studio like Don't Nod, yet once again they pulled it off. As other "double-A" games, Banishers is not perfect. The combat is repetitive, the backtracking is ever present, some animations are janky... Yet there is so much heart, so much soul in this game. I loved the stories of different characters you meet, the portrayal of early America that no US-based studio would dare to put forward. Lots of LGBTQ+ undertones, too - lovely. The think that really hit the mark though were the animations of Red and Antea - their interactions, the way they stand up from the fireplace (a number of random options), the way they move - as in a dance - together. Also, Antea's pull/flying animation was awesome. I could never get tired of looking at them. I also very much enjoyed the maps. So many nooks and crannies, so many spots to hunt for treasure - with something surprising hidden almost everywhere. My only regret is that I got the "bad ending".
I promised to resurrect Antea, but tailed to blame/kill enough living haunting characters - resulting in a time loop end.
Fair is fair though. As much as this is one of my favorite games (ever), it is not one I would want to replay. I will watch other endings on YouTube. 56 hours is enough :)
Не блокбастер, но просто хорошая игра с историей и не плохими побочными заданиями.
弃之可惜食之无味,虽说只要个位数的价格,但是自己的时间是最宝贵的,如果不对这种题材特别感兴趣不建议游玩
Another masterpiece from Don't Nod. I really like it. :)
