Ball of Poo

this game is very nice i like it very much it hits all the right notes. the monkey ball marble blast ultra esque approach to the formula of Only Up Bennet Foddy type games seems like an obvious one but it is a surprisingly fresh feeling take that gets the right hooks into my brain. the gameplay is successfully sisyphean and scratches that sort of itch that souls games do in that way. the main concern with a unity type game like this is its going to be a thoughtless piling of assets but the game surprised me with its good ideas and surprised along the path. the character design of beetle chan is ideal and hits all the notes it needs to this is the kind of character people want to control in games. recommended companion material would be a public domain audiobook of franz kafka's The Metamorphosis.

Ball of poo is a 3d foddian game where you control a ball and i personally used controller to beat it. The map is really punishing, and i though it would be a problem in the long run but turn out the map was also really short and i've beaten it in 12 min on my winning attempts (1 hour of total playtime to beat) The game was really fun to play, despite the fall being punishing as it felt pretty fast to get back on top.

Its satisfying to here the plap noise when you fall :)

A fresh take of ♥♥♥♥, on the "Only Up" genre. Dung Beetle Chan is the mascot I never knew I wanted. Im not a fan of these Twitch streamer bait games, but this one is neat, and fairly simple. Move the poop, dont fall. Theres no jumping, which is a shame, but still a fun challenge. Physics behave like they should. Only thing thats really annoying is the music, but that can be turned off. Make something original, fitting with the games design and visuals. If your goal audience is Twitch streamers, then having a copyrighted piece is really dumb.

i saw this game originally on a Youtube series pointing out weird steam games and ended up giving it a shot, i ended up really liking it, don't play if you don't like rage games though

Hell, But Beetle Girls are cute. I'm a sucker for monster girls, I loathe the game play style of only up clones. hell I hate the original.. but when I saw a dung beetle girl piloting her ball of poo, I said. yeah I will suffer for a beetle girl. Game play is that like those pesky climbers like only up and such. but with a healthy mix of the gameplay of say Monkey Ball. I think this game can use polish, and then might be the next big climber game that people get overly obsessed with. I, as a fan of cute things from time to time. most definitely believe in a short time,, you will see just that, People playing this like no tomorrow. If you like janky controls and climbing only to have to restart over and over. this is def for you. I hope more games with the level of art get produce... tho I can do without clones of one same played out genre.. but that's me...
