Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of the most inconsistent handling models I've ever seen, and I've played Jelly Car. The idea of Baja racing is cool, but when your vehicles are unpleasant to drive, you start to wonder why you are still playing. Right away, I knew this game had a floaty-sliding style to it. I wasn't expecting a realistic experience, nor did I care to have one. I wanted to have a racing game that I could pop on fast and do some races, and for a while, Baja: Edge of Control was pretty good at it. All of my playtime was through the Baja Career mode. I started the first two series on Hard, which I should mention, there are only two difficulty modes: easy and hard. You will find out that these difficulty options are mere suggestions to the AI, and they couldn't care less about opinions. I am pretty good at racing games, so I felt confident going into the game on hard right away, and you know I was right, for the time. It wasn't until the very last race of the second series that the difficulty of the AI skyrocketed. Depending on the event, even if the career is set to easy, the bots WILL CHEAT to catch up to you. Oh, and they don't need to manage the status of their car as you do. If an AI has car problems, it is because they were designated to have problems for that particular race (think crashes in GRID 1), but the rest of the racers can batter and beat the brakes off these cars, while you have to drive it like the thing is made of cracked glass. The type of AI you are dealing with in this game is the type found in games like Need for Speed or Test Drive. Their pace is based on your pace, not a set pace. I assume the "hard" difficulty is based on your theoretical best lap times, so if you're into getting gaslit by bot racers that are usually clueless, unless they are cheating, then by all means buy this game, heck, wait 'til it's on sale. I got mine for $7, and you know what? I still feel like I got a bad deal. If you have ever played one of THQ Nordic's games, you will be familiar with how they do difficulties. It doesn't matter if it is Saints Row or if it's a racing game about driving a school bus into a pack of lawnmowers, they do not want to make an actual difficulty mode. All of it is adaptive, which sounds cool until you actually play these games and you realize there is no feedback when you are starting to mess up, or you are about to lose it all. The judging of distance and jumps is where you really see this problem. Every experience has that feeling of being totally untouchable, then in an instant, your truck does not grip, the gang members that were 3 blocks away, who were driving a car that was on fire, are now in a brand new car with a fresh crew ready to shred you to pieces. I understand the concept of a challenge. However, it's the constant repositioning of the goalposts that infuriates me. Give me a handling model that doesn't give me the feeling of running up a set of stairs with a glass of water filled to the brim. Give me bots that actually feel like they are grounded in the race itself, rather than this weird conga line of AI that is so fast and impressive, but yet they can't do hillclimb races without flipping over on their backs like drunk turtles. It looks cheesy; to find this game durable enough to play long term, you'd either have to be a kid or someone who is so sedated that they forget consciousness every five minutes. To the reader who is interested in this, does the game work on a modern PC? Yes. Does that mean you should play it? No. You deserve better than this. Look for a game made by individuals who know what they are doing, and make sure to use that refund feature when you can. I knew the risks when I approached the closing window for my refund, but I was looking to settle with a game after years of buying and refunding games and not having something “new” to play. Dear reader, do not settle.

"Easy" mode should be standard because after almost 20 hours, AI is completely cracked my guy. Career mode is mostly tournaments but out of all the game modes, free roam is my fav to explore and chill.
This game is pretty good for 2008 standards. The remaster just made the visuals less dated and added a few basic things which makes it much more playable but for the most part its the exact same game Pros: Good physics, the cars just fly across the landscape. Cool dust effects. Diverse cars and paint schemes. Giant maps. Fun take on the real Baja races, captures the vibe pretty good. Enough campaign to put maybe 15 hours in the game. The game is tiny and runs on my laptop with few issues. What I think is a good mix of arcade and realistic gameplay. Cons: There are not enough songs and you will get tired of them in 2 or 3 hours. The world feels very empty/devoid of human life. With 4k graphics you can see now that a lot of the cars are the same and just have different paint schemes. Still for each class there are I think 5 real variants and different paint schemes for each. Sometimes track assets will just be black or say DEFAULT across them. Most importantly though, it crashes for me every, on average, 20 minutes. For a 2008 game it's pretty good. The only real bad thing is the missing assets sometimes and the crashing, Probably due to some cut corners or something in the porting process. It boots back up and you're racing again in less than 60 seconds, but it happens at the end of a race or in the middle of a Baja (which can be hours long), and you lose that race's progress and have to start again. Not really worth $30 unless you have disposable income and if you played as a kid
Drive
Pure nostalgia
Muy decente aun en 2026
