I "played" the first story. It was 50 minutes of sterile, generic writing with 2 moments to make a binary choice. I didn't realize until later how much AI was used. Skip it and listen to a book on tape.
I love the pacing and dream-like atmosphere of this game. It is exactly what I was looking for: mystery, subtle horror, mostly text-based, and at your own pace. The words paint a picture in your head. Overall I find the menu/options intuitive and well designed. It is a nice, simple game and I hope there are more like it.

The game does a great job of pulling you into the unsettling atmosphere of the Backrooms. From the very beginning, the sense of tension and mystery is strong, and the way the story unfolds keeps you engaged throughout the experience. The combination of visuals and descriptions creates a strange, eerie environment that’s easy to get absorbed in, making the whole journey feel immersive and intriguing. If you enjoy narrative-driven experiences and the unique vibe of the Backrooms, this is definitely worth trying.
Loved the writing and ambiance for this one, looking forward to playing more of their games, the stories and choice points for each are really creative too.
