Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5/day in the week to Sep 14 → 3.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Your mission is simple. Capture anomalous phenomena and transmit the data while staying alive.
Official Release on July 30, 2025: Go Deeper
Your exploration now goes beyond the hotel, swimming pool, and parking lot—into the foul-smelling “Sewers” and the eerie “School.”
Exploration Mode: Face the fear of getting lost in ever-changing environments.
Story Mode: Follow a fixed map and uncover the massive conspiracy Backroom Company has been hiding.
Core Gameplay: Filming Is Survival
Collect strange items scattered throughout the rooms and record unidentified entities to leave evidence.
The data you capture becomes your survival score—and your key to escape.
“Hide or Stay Silent”
The beings of the Backrooms do not welcome you.
An immortal entity relentlessly chases you. The locker room is your only safe haven.
A monster without eyes detects even the faintest breath. Muffle your footsteps and hold your breath.
“Work with Your Team”
Team up with your companions. But remember: more terrifying than any entity may be a teammate in panic.
(No matter how angry you get, try not to kill your teammates on purpose. Probably.)

Amazing game; I love the backrooms and this is absolutely the best backrooms game I have found. The multiplayer allows for fun exploration with friends. It's great looking an plenty of fun to be had with many levels.
The footprint mechanic is amazing for someone like me who gets lost all the time, not really scary, more about puzzles and some parkour, typical Backrooms stuff
My friends screamed like little girls. 10/10 would deafen myself again.

GENERAL: It's Lethal Company's chaotic cousin who grew up watching Backrooms videos. The core loop of scavenging while managing your power through photography is genuinely tense and creative. But man, does it have some jank. • Enemy AI is dumb. You can literally run circles around most of them, which kills the horror sometimes. • Loot spawns in convenient little gift baskets. Finding everything feels too easy, like the Backrooms hired a cleaning crew to neatly place everything on shelves for you. THE GOOD STUFF: The photography mechanic is brilliant - it adds real urgency to expeditions. Pushing that shopping cart through liminal spaces never gets old. And there are plenty of solid jump scares if that's your thing. THE JANK: Crashed twice. Got stuck on geometry few times. Voice chat might as well not exist. This game has "promising early access" energy, except it's already fully released. CONCLUSION: For $8, you could do a lot worse. It's janky, it's rough, but the core concept is gold. Bring friends - playing solo is like trying to party alone.
good game
Tried the rework beta and I'm really enjoying the new direction. Just hoping they can iron out the bugs before release.
The mix of Backrooms tension and Lethal-Company-style chaos works surprisingly well. A short but useful story mode introduces the basics, and then the real panic begins. Great value for 8 bucks.
A Brutal but Rewarding Solo Experience Solo players will find the difficulty startling at first. Yet this toughness slowly becomes appealing, as each failure teaches something about movement, sound, spacing, or monster temperament. The poolcore area in particular delivers a dreamlike calm before collapsing into panic. For a game priced at eight dollars, it offers surprising emotional range.
