Pretty fun little gem of a game
absolute banger
I found this game to be below average. The performance is not good. There are a lot of lag spikes all over the place that I could not find a solution to. The writing is incoherent and dull at its worst, and kind of amusing at its best. I did not feel attached to the overall plot and characters, except one character and their fate. There is no adventure. You walk slowly along a prepared path and do some very very light puzzling at times. But mostly it's just talking to people, do some "fetch quest"-like tasks, or do the next obvious thing ahead of you. You go from area to area for no reason in particular and stuff just happens around you. It feels like the game areas were designed first and then shoehorned into the narrative. The game is trying very hard to be funny, and it doesn't really work. The funniest moment in the game that I recall is a reference to a children's film. You are given a few "verbs" that you can do as the player. You can delete stuff, copy stuff, recolor stuff, or "flip"-stuff (which can have different effects depending on context). These verbs are used sparingly, and when you encounter a situation where the verbs can be used in interesting ways, you will rarely or never encounter similar situations again. In one area in particular there is a small interesting puzzle that requires you to utilize both the recolor and the flip actions to solve it. But the puzzle is easy, and you don't encounter any more puzzles of the same type again. In all other areas, like voice acting, art, and music - the game is not great, but completely fine.
lowkey might've cried a little bit towards the end. whoopsies. DEFINITELY coming back to 100% when i have the time and motivation... i'll never forget you, os9.
I finally understand what's happening inside my phone during an OS upgrade
Good game. The athstetic and art direction are pleasing though not particularly stand-out. The puzzles can demand some depth of thought though they tend to be rather simple. The movement is the simple bare minimum one would expect in a 3D game, though it doesn’t require any more than that to function well. The music is pretty good though none of the tracks really stand out. The high point of the game is the characters and story. Oh my goodness the story. The is one the exceedingly few games where iv’e felt genuinely emotional sadness. The personality in characters helped me get attached to them, though I will say that some have more than others. Definitely recommend this if you like story central games.
Really wish I could rate meh... It's an okay walking simulator but nothing exciting. The white bread of gaming.
好
the quality. the premise, the gameplay, everything this game has to offer makes it an amazing contender for a huge indie title, though its still so unknown and underappreceated its mindboggling. play this game
这游戏还行吧,但我不建议买,为什么呢?看看别人的评测能发现大伙没感觉到meta元素在哪,因为这游戏的meta藏在了全收集里面,就算全收集了还得猜剧情,所以不如去网上看up主的解说。
